Why are boomers so bad with technology?

Boomers never gave a shit to learn the tech other boomers were creating. For the last 20 years I've seen boomers be completely helpless with tech; imagine going from your mid 50s on not knowing basic facts about computers. It's embarrassing

I see zoomer and millennials just as clueless about normal car and house upkeep and basic skills such as cooking for themselves. That's even more embrassing imo.

I'd love to see what would happen if you took their smartphones away and then sent them out into the world for a month.
