Why do Asians have the best hair but small breasts?

Haha, I'm just razzin' you a bit man. Take pride in your body.

You can't blame me, I've seen some shit in this thread lol. It's all cool as I said, I don't mind it one bit. I have no complex on that (i did have a complex with a relatively small pectus carinatum when I was in school... i would quickly swap t-shirts so no one would see it).

I guess it's like that but Hitomi Tanaka and Saaya Irie say otherwise in the boob department. Rina Koike is on point for rail thin and barely any boobs tho.

Receipts please?
As in, not something you've read in Men's health or Maxim.

Actual research.

Well, there is this. It doesn't specifically mention East Asians, which I assume is what you are referring to in terms of actual research, but the link to the article does appear to corroborate the map data as far as size is concerned.

But I agree, the map probably just provides bell curve averages. There are extreme cases on both ends of the spectrum and all sizes in between.

A wordpress site doesn't exactly inspire a lot of confidence.

Also surprised at how few people understand that "typically have" and "on average have" does NOT mean that there are no exceptions. Also LOL at using anecdotes as fact. If I hung out with Yao Ming, Sun MingMing, and Yi Jianlian I'd think that all Asian people were 7 foot giants.

Indeed, it's hard to find scientific data. For India I could only find this other article.

There's a lot more studies regarding US versus Japanese penis sizes though and the findings don't quite reflect what's on the map:

World penis sizes

New penis size survey: U.S. ranks 11th. Right behind Japan

Tenga survey

You push the ruler into your pelvis until it starts to bleed and penetrate the skin.

or you just measure the important part that is actually going to penetrate lol. just the stick from balls. I dunno how others do it. I have no idea why i am talking about it.

Regarding the topic it is all about environment, culture and evolution.

I find these estimates or results hard to believe...

Not cause it hurts my ego, but because I don't really think 5 inches or so is average in the United States and then my size would be considered...above average. Finding that hard to fathom, really.

Well, the way averages works is that you have a 50 percent chance of being above average. Those are pretty good odds.

Not very inspiring either. The first website has three large "Buy Now" clickable icons all around the chart and promotes penis extenders.
The second and third websites read like Fox News reports. There's a little data in there mixed in with a lot of subjective stereotypical opinions. It was really annoying to read since apparently it'd be some huge surprise if Japan had a larger average penis size than America. They even suggest that the data isn't accurate because well why would Japanese guys not have tiny dicks? What a crock of shit. Not like it'd really matter anyway since taking the average size for a melting pot country like America is straight up useless. Average size, even if accurate, says nothing about individuals in America since you don't know if data is being skewed by ethnic, socioeconomic, or other groups.

Science and statistics are important to find the truth whether people want it or not. However, all these pseudoscience studies are pointless and all they do is serve to perpetuate stereotypes that may or may not exist. If whatever group I fall under had an average penis length of 1 inch, that's fine. However if we're average with the rest of the world and people start assuming we have 1 inch dicks, that's just straight stupid.

If you want real data (which you'll probably never get for various reasons) then you have to have strict guidelines that enforce professionally obtained accurate results with a standardized method (NOT self reporting). You have to have a large sample size (at least in the thousands). And you have to avoid biases (such as relying only on those who go to condom stores).

This is partially why numbers don't really matter. If two people with the exact same size measure at two different places, they can differ by A LOT. Measure from the top, side, and bottom and you'll see what I'm talking about.

honestly if you are happy , our wife is happy it does nothing else matters. fuck after teenage years you forget about it as more important things come in to place.

Although penis is size is like money. People who have it brag about it. those who do not have it will say it is no important anyway ( guilty) haha.

Penises are not as large (on average) as popular opinion would leave people to believe. I still doubt that 5 inches is average, but I could see any number between 5 and 6 being there.

That's not how averages work. You could have 99% of the people below the average if there's a huge outlier on one end. What's the average of these numbers: 1, 1, 1, 1, 16. It's 4 but notice how 80% of the numbers fall below it. You're thinking of Median. There is an equal number of people above and below a median.

Thanks to you guys for discrediting that blog someone posted, I would have done it myself if I wasn't afraid of getting stuck in an average penis length debate. It's also important to remember that even where you have reasonably reliable statistics on average penis length, it is at best only per nation - which is useless data for a number reasons.

There is not a single piece of reliable research highlighting the average penis size per ethnicity.

So yeah, saying that asian men have smaller dicks is nothing more than a racist stereotype.

you can find five more survey saying other wise but, it does not matter much. two dudes fighting will always do this kind of comparison.

The two links about the Tenga study might be off because it's the average for guys who sent their data to Tenga. The stereotypical notion would be that if you have a big dick, you're swimming in pussy and don't even know what Tenga is.

Only there are none, all people end up linking to in these discussions are condom companies and web blogs.

Science!

I'm fine with making fun of Koreans.

One would think that due to the diversity of their populations, places like canada and America are essentially not worth studying when it comes to anything regarding body variables. Also apparently according to the second article I'm only an average Congolese man, damn you Congo!

Ugh, I should have known what this thread would become before entering.

I think my largest reservation accepting the penis size "myths" is what it opens the door to. I'm not saying those "myths" are wrong; as of right now there is scant reliable evidence, but what scant reliable evidence exists generally points to these "myths" being true.

The problem is that there are lots of other racist stereotypes that have weak evidence to support them, and if we applied the same basic logic with other stereotypes that we just applied to penis size people would erupt in a much greater furor very quickly.

I mean, if we start admitting there are real, important differences between the races (And relying on scant evidence to "prove" it), then we can also start admitting that some races may be less intelligent on average than other races, and that some races may be less disciplined on average than other races. Again, I'm not saying we can't discuss this. I just don't think this is a door many people actually want to open.

In my experience, I find people are quick to accept the stereotypes that benefit their particular race (Asian people are smart, Black people have large penises), but don't like it when the door swings open and the less flattering stereotypes walk through the door along with the more flattering ones. I'm willing to keep all the stereotypes-with-scant-evidence out, or I'm willing to bring in all of them, even if they make us uncomfortable; but only accepting the ones we happen to find personally flattering is not reasonable.

Again, for emphasis: I'm willing to discuss racial stereotypes, but as soon as we open the door for penis size we open the door for a lot of things which are much more important and much less comfortable for everyone involved.

Wait are you trying to tell me that the general view is that it's okay to say Asians have small dicks but it's not okay to say Africans are stupid or Caucasians are lazy and don't excel at anything?
That can't be true. They're all ignorant stereotypes after all! Surely they'd be treated equally in society.

In general society it isn't ok to refer to stereotyped Asian body characteristics, no. But in impolite company, a lot of things are said to varying degrees of insensitivity or impropriety, where it's still known not to be 'correct', but it's done anyway.

I don't think that's what he's saying. I think he's saying that if you acknowledge that there actually are real differences between racial groups, and if your starting point is the stereotype (regardless of whether it's true or not) that Asians tend to have smaller penises on average, then you open the door to questions about other stereotypes which have more serious implications.

I think you've summarized it just right!

Well, yeah. I'm sure a majority of people still believe that porn is the average size, when it's nowhere near that. I think I'm leaning toward the latter part of 5 inches being average, 5 inches on the dot just doesn't seem right.

but you know if it is then technically i have an above average penis and that's cool i guess.

doubting it though. couldn't care less either way.

Ey yo, but really...you know...what..never mind.

I'm just going to say that one thing goes with another. And leave that there for people to complete the thought.
