I never much had a problem with JL's music. The lyrics are shallow and trite, but for the most part, the music and her singing come across to me as inoffensive, if bland and generic. It's no more offensive to me than any of the other big name pop princesses. Her new song is terribly irritating, but that's mostly because they absolutely destroy the sample they're using.

The only decent song by J Lo is Waiting for the Night, but that is becase it is a complete rip off cover song of an old freestyle song. The music is exactly the same as the original. The only difference is that she is the one singing it. I forgot who wrote the original, but they are the exact same song down to the notes and lyrics.
