If you can get one of these for damn near $30 to $50

Would you be waiting for the ps2 version of RE4, I just wanna know the thought process.

It's damn near GOTG, yet people with a cube already are even waiting for an inferior port, it boggles the mind.

Why... do you care what console people choose to play the game on?

If you liked the game so much then why would you care what version people buy?

Wouldn't you rather more people experience the game?
 
Well, thats their loss. I played it right when it came out. It is GOTG for me right now. If they want to wait then let them wait. But at least I had lots of fun playing the GC version. Hopfefully the PS2 version doesn't get caught in the next gen craze this winter.

I don't really, I just wanna know why someone would wait, when they could play it now.

It's like skipping a movie in the theatre just to wait to watch it on network tv.

Let's be honest here, the majority of people here who were really nterested in RE4 had already purchased a cube to play it.

There are also people who don't see the need to buy the gamecube just to play RE4, especially when the current (and upcomming) line-up does not interest them.

The question you should be asking is how come more cube owners didn't buy the game.

A more accurate illustration would be skipping a movie in the theatre to wait to watch it on DVD with the extras. :)

People who had an Xbox and PS2 waited for a GTA SA port for Xbox too. Know how many threads about those people were made?

I didn't want to spend extra money on a new console to purchase one game. Yes, I understand that the PS2 port of RE4 may not be as good as the GCN original, however, it really doesn't bother me at all.
 
I can understand waiting and buying the Rev and then getting RE4, but the PS2 version is a joke. I'm still somewhat interested in hearing what the exlusive features are.

I don't remember reading any hands-on impression of the PS2 port of RE4....so how would you know the PS2 port is a joke? Are you basing your opinion on screenshots?
 
Its crazy.
Hopefully sales will increase for the GC around Zelda launch and more peeps will pick it up too.

18th November 2005! Around the time Zelda is due to hit.

Well, graphically it is a joke. Especially with next gen being months away.
