Wii-U - Amazon listing UK prices and launch date

Ditto, got an e-mail from DPD saying..

Your guaranteed delivery date is:
Thursday, November 29, 2012

.. hope that's true! Also it was a £199 mispriced system so it looks like they did honour them in the end. Yay!
 
My Amazon Wii U is "dispatching soon" now...

Really hoping it comes Friday and not tomorrow or I'm gonna get zero work done. But I'd still take tomorrow over Saturday!
 
Got news of my Zavvi orders today. Black Ops 2 has despatched this afternoon, expected delivery on or before 3rd December and my Wii U ZombiU bundle has been despatched about half an hour ago and has the same expected delivery date which is bloomin annoying. Don't want to have to wait until Monday because I've got a doc's appointment that afternoon. Aaaaaaargh!!! Hopefully they're being pessimistic on the delivery date, it does say on or before...

Mine too - I guess they'll go out tomorrow morning, or something, and arrive by friday. Or ship out this afternoon, with instructions to withhold delivery until Friday. (Or is it only Apple who does that nowadays?)
 
Mines despatched from Zavvi too, it says I can track the order but the link they provide dosn't bring up anything on the DPD site. Or am I being a little impatient considering it was only sent like an hour ago?

I got the same thing mate, probably best to check after 9am tomorrow.

What date does it have under Estimated Delivery Date..?

Same as yours, on or before 3rd December. Would be nice to have it for friday but I won't be too dissapointed if I have to wait another few days.
 
only one more day until I pick up mine from game. the excitement is almost unbearable. it's been so long since the last new console launch. so many strange feelings.

I too received my email today informing me I will be receiving my Wii U tomorrow via UPS.

Cannot wait... well I can, I am currently delving into some Super Mario Galaxy for old times sake.
 
Amazon posted my game on Tuesday morning via Royal Mail (!). Even though I'm in an outlying region it's bound to get here by Friday. They then posted my console via City Link on Tuesday night, meaning it's touch and go as to whether it gets here on the boat by Friday. One of these days they will get a clue and post the bigger item via the slower shipping method first!

Still nothing from Amazon but estimated for 30th. My other half thinks she is putting it away till Xmas. Gives me another 24hrs to convince her otherwise.
 
According to the threads on Amazon, Amazon haven't actually received many of the black premium yet, and have only just received the White versions. Sigh...
 
I'm getting the Wii U, Nintendoland and 1 other game now. (Probably Mario.)
The other game(s) will be kept for Christmas. This suits me fine.

Booo! Someone got an email from them containing the following info:

"Nintendo Wii U 32GB Premium Pack - Black

This item will be released on November 30th. 2393"


We might be waiting a while...
 
Makes me glad I'm ugly and single for once lol.

Was wondering how I was going to pay for it because I bunged it on my credit card but have found a low risk way of winning on online Roulette. Started off with a £20 deposit plus a £50 bonus and now have £415 in my account lol. Should have £450 by the time I've finished tonight and have set myself a target of adding £100 per day. It's a very tedious system, earning 50p profit at a time but I'm currently unable to work due to ill health so have plenty of time to add to my tally 50p at a time lol.

Jus to be Debbie downer, don't you hate it when it doesn't turn up until the afternoon on day of release? Mail order stuff should be allowed to arrive the day before


Edit: got two emails from shopto this morning, both identical - maybe because I had a preorder for the console, and another for games which hey seem to have merged. Both say 'shipping notice - dispatch ID xxxxxxx' which sounds good.

But what does this mean?

My orders page doesn't have a TNT tracking number or a photo of the package. Does that mean it hasn't been picked up?


Edit2: man, shopto is slow tonight. Maybe lots of people hammering F5 to see if their status changed. But I think they only dispatch until 5pm, so won't be any more news now.

Dude I'v got a tnt tracking number but tnt site just says please call in status. When I phoned up tnt they didn't seem to know where my package, is their gonna phone me in the morning but I feel like shopto might have fucked up. Either that or maybe/hopefully its just not got to the warehouse yet.
 
Congrats for getting their wiius asap!we r all going to have such a great time! I'm getting zombiu,mario and land. Any proposes? Blips, tekken,ac etc ?

I should have a tracking number if its been picked up - it's possible yours won't register for tracking until its scanned at a TNT depot which could be dry late tonight/early hours tomorrow.

Bit odd that shopto would email me in the morning saying its ready to be sent out, and then not send it out.

Still, fingers crossed.

My ready to be sent email is doubled up with a sent email the shopto order number works on tnt website for tracking as well. I suppose when you send a load of packages at once its conceivable that tnts tracking takes a minute to catch up. Basically good look brother hopefully we both have our wiius this time tomorrow...


PS. In other news my ac3 is in germany and ups tracking is a lot more reliable than tnts.
 
Same thing here - it's just DPD re using tracking numbers. I bet by the morning it will be the correct details as mine is listing a delivery from June.

Yeah mine says September. I just spoke to amazon who confirmed that. Lucky the dude double checked as he was ready to get another one sent out.
