The Wii had a Logitech racing wheel. I think it only worked with Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit though.
That's not good enough. The hardware is already there and supports industry standards, Nintendo needs to support it.

That CARS game looks pretty sexy. If Nintendo could have it running at 1080p at E3 while the competition is chugging along at 720p, that would make Wii U look real good.
Wii U should get the Skyrim GOTYedition.glitch free
Why is everyone excited about cars? Is that even wiiu footage?
It's alpha PC footage.
Wow that CARS trailer...makes me even more excited to see the power of the Wii U --and the next generation.
Holy sh*t Project C.A.R.S. looks amazing. Watch this in 1080p. I'm not a racing simulator fan but this I want to play.
Just saying, no one is gonna care about 2011 titles by the end of the year.
Get some of the good 2012 stuff, and at like $50, and you're gold.

Isn't the Upad with accelerometers and gyro enough? The Wiimote was pretty good for racers. Many people dismiss it as 'waggle' but that's really only true for games that give the impression to use the Wiimote as a 1:1 clone for a magic wand, sword or tennis racket. It doesn't have less accuracy than an analogue for racers...
I doubt it would get close to that.Wow that CARS trailer...makes me even more excited to see the power of the Wii U --and the next generation.
I want a game like this with NASCAR like racing on Wii U.
I hope Wii U's final GPU is DX11-class, not DX10.1
The probability of the Wii U using the DX10.1 GPU in the devkit in actual units sold to people is roughly the same though. If they're going to replace it, it would make no sense whatsoever not to include a DX11 one, or at least one that has a tesselator (which really is almost all that matters) similar to the Northern or Southern Islands chips.I imagine the chance of that happening is about the same as a white ball of frozen ice surviving in satan's backyard.
just post it, anyone who can read the english language will understand that a rumour is a rumour, I still want to know. I just like seeing if things turn out to be right.http://paulgalenetwork.com/home/2012...n-arkham-city/
I don't know if the game is legit or not, which is why I'm not even saying anything just yet. If it is indeed real, it's purportedly being developed for Wii U, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 (with the possibilities expanding to PC, 3DS, and PS Vita).
Sometimes you put up rumor that you've heard floating around and it turns out true: you look great for being the first source on the subject.
Sometimes you put up a rumor and it turns out false: you look like you wasted your time and just got peoples' hopes up.
I've been digging a lot for this game before saying more on it, because I'd like to "know" it's real before sharing it. No official word leaves me a little skeptical, but there are some things that add up fairly well that make me think it's a possibility.
I'll give it a couple of days and go with whatever the popular opinion is. That being said, if this would be a Wii U exclusive (though it's looking to be multiplatform), it'd sure be one helluva good game!
I'm not so sure. Then again, most of what DX11 has over 10.1 is useless for games. We'll see.I imagine the chance of that happening is about the same as a white ball of frozen ice surviving in satan's backyard.

As long as it's not more Batman.
I love the Batman universe for cartoons, but the games leave something to be desired.

A) Should I tell you if I want to read about this rumor?
B) Should I not tell you if I want to read about this rumor?
In any case, my answer might change the current debate. You have 6 votes in favor of revealing the rumor but what if I was against, how would that influence things? Choose wisely because I also couldn't decide and this decision might have further implications for us as a species.
you're just making me want to know what it is even more lol, PM ME the details...but there are plenty of people at the same time that hate being misled in the slightest. I'm excited and wish to share it with all of you. It'd be awesome if it was true too, but regardless, just talking with fellow gamers about the cool possibilities of such a game would be a lot of fun. It's so brilliant that I hope it's true. I contacted Rocksteady, but didn't get a confirmation or denial which is to be expected.
I wonder if its Superman? I have no clue what to expect otherwise.
if its going to be a superhero, i think Spiderman would make sense
I say go for it. If you're right, we'll look back and say "hey, Paul was right after all!", if wrong, we'll know that you stressed its uncertainty, that's what matters, that you're not lying to us, you know it can go either way.

Oh, speaking of which Paul.
When is that Wii U story going up?
With the good come a couple of bad, like the "RUMOR" of Hideo Kojima's game. My source provided me with accurate information on Kojima talking about Metal Gear Solid 5's possibility at the 2010 Tokyo Game Show, before other outlets got the source
I agree, Find Mii and Puzzle Swap are great, and some of the AR games are addictive. I hope the Wii-U gets these types of games built-in.It's fairly funny to think about it but the thing I'm most excited about for the Wii U isn't the games or what is under the hood.
I'm curious to see how they follow up the amazing suite of random 3DS apps!
I'm serious here. Find Mii is still my favorite launch game and I've spent more time fucking around with the sound program then I'd care to admit.
Lets say the WiiU's BOM is $299
Whats the better move?
Sell the WiiU at a loss at $249
Or a profit at $349?
being it ninty, i'd say 349 for profit, they never sell h/w at a loss which means less than modern tech and consumers lose

Man, how far Nintendo of America has fallen.
Also, that Gamecube looks fantastic in that picture. Like a real powerful device.
