Fuck, you scared me. :lol
seriously though, don't make jokes like that, it's annoying as all hell

I'm in for Super Mario Sunshine 2. Loved the first game.
Saying "Wii U games are hot" is not enough to please GAF IdeaMan, you should know that by now. And Harker too i suppose. He should have given a little more details like "It looks much better than BF3 on PC" or something similar, if he didnt want GAF to go crazy.

You're rather hard guys, an apparently confirmed developer is giving you hints of the good impressions generated by some Wii U games at the GDC
And a media agency present in the conference is indicating that the Wii U is at the heart of the discussions of the hundred of attendees, all professionals from small to the biggest studios.
It's news.
It's not Mario Universe screenshots, it's not a complete spec sheet, but it's news, relevant to the topic & the GDC.
Now, if you prefer talking about Zelda SS for the 100th time and forbid these kind of infos...![]()
You've seen the news about the media agency present at the conference that i've posted the page before. And harker didn't say just that.
But i understand the super-ultra-anticipation here![]()

I really just want Mario to return to platforming that isn't spherical. Loved the Galaxy games but damn if I didn't feel like I was fighting perspective half the time...

How do we summon Harker back for more information. Candle light ritual? Ouija board?
Where's Ace?
Haven't seen him in a while.

Wii U's fall line-up is shaping up. The big question - when does the system launch?

It's hard to know if, when he says 'HOT' whether that means real nice or jaw dropping. We really need more people's opinions to get a better idea. I want a follow-up Mario game with mechanics like SMB2/Doki Doki Panic. Pick your player out of Mario, Luigi, Peach, amd Toad. Imagine riding a Birdo egg through 3D space while little Ninja guys and Bob-ombs below await..
6! I ADORED Sunshine!
I'd kill for an actual sequel!
I just thought of the perfect Wii U showcase title:
Formula 1
Use ur Wii U mote as a F1 steering wheel!

God I hate when IGN does this shit. I realize they're doing it for hits, but come on.
If it's already shaping up and we really have heard nothing substantial about original games, then I'm going to keep my expectation as a rather muted 'current gen ports until Xmas' for third parties.
Yeah, and seeing as the expo doesn't start until tomorrow at 10:00 am PST, we don't even know what Nintendo has in store at their booth, unless someone has infiltrated North Hall and taken some snapshots. I haven't seen anything like that though.Keep in mind, folks: it's 10am on Day 2.
We still have lots of GDC left!
Ace is a girl? Hmm it's quite hard distinguishing men and women here in GAF due to the stereotypically male-predominant nature of this site.Probably off somewhere working on the next Speculation Thread OP.
Either that, or seducing another developer.
(I tried to last night.. but my game was waaaaay off. At one point, I insulted Western game developers in general, thinking it would seem endearing and suave to my target.. and he turned-out to be from Oregon instead of Kyoto. Poop.)
Nintendo should just let developers of third party games reveal what they have so far and save E3 for the first party bombs and maybe a surprise third party game.
Presumably the biggest games in Nintendo's launch will be Call of Duty, Assassins Creed 3, and whatever their first party game will end up being. I think it's safe to conclude that. As for lower tier supporting titles, that's where the Darksiders and whatever else lay.
it's comments like these that make me wish people would get a clue about GDC and stop repeating the same thing every year

yeah I'm speaking sales wise/big name wise.Weird, I'm interested in Darksiders much more than Call of Duty or Assassin's Creed 9.
But yeah, as far as the biggest names go, I understand.
Cute comment but I know, as do many here, what exactly GDC is for.
That doesn't mean things don't get brought up at the conference.

Even though I personally dislike Darksiders, I'm sure lots around gaf are looking more forward to it than another call of duty (maybe, lol).
But yeah just speaking on the BIG name titles, it seems like COD, AC3, Nintendo game. Then you throw in some other ubisoft trash,
I have no idea on killer freaks but I'm sure ubisoft will have a good heft of average to shitty games for launch/launch window. It's their duty.I actually have high hopes for Killer Freaks from Outer Space.
I think it's being done by one of their decent teams but I'm not well versed on all of that.
but nothing as big as your expecting. the way u guys are E3 won't be enough info for you.
I wasn't expecting anything but from now to E3, we should see something to get us excited about the system.
Like Red Steel did for the Wii.
Oh wait, scratch that...
