Why? It's not like it'll change this guy's mind, especially since he probably already knows. He's just being childish and stupid, and Nintendo has far more important things to deal with than rebutting a couple of tweets.
I'd have to agree. The odds of a professional developer knowing less than random forum people is pretty low. Either he already knows and felt the need to tweet troll, or he is ignorant of the process of a company he seems to not like.
Considering he laced his criticism with trolling, and was criticizing elements of WiiWare that are no longer true of Nintendo's Digital platforms, he comes across as an ignorant hater.
And since he is now perceived as an ignorant hater, he must work to rectify this image, as we all know one's reputation is in one's own hands.
Nintendo must of ran over many people's dogs and have plenty of enemies because of it
Well you never really know what will cause offense these days. I remember BOSS Game Studios Waaaaaaaaay back in 1998 having a hissy fit with Nintendo because they released 1080 Snowboard in between their initial projected release date and their revised release dat for their game Twisted Edge Snowboarding. Like Nintendo had the temerity to release a video game that was in the same genre as theirs. And People liked it better! Those fiends.
Anyway the Two Guys From Andromeda reunion shows that individuals and companies can get over petty bullshit, because those two guys hated each other, and yet they seem to have put it aside. Maybe the same will apply in this situation.
