Kind of partial to Arizona Tea recently. But I'll take a cold Coke over tea any day, if it weren't for potential kidney stones.
Get your non-drinking tea attitude out of here!

Jools Watsham's (Renegade Kid) blog is the perfect response to Oster's nonsense.
I posted this in the other thread too. Jools shows how Devs can publish a game on a Nintendo platform and make a profit from it. (He had a hit with Mutant Mudds on the 3DS.)

So who's conference are yet to be dated? EA, Konami and Nintendo, is that it?
Was stuck in school all day. Finally back home (GAF)
I like this guy. I think I'm going to turn on my 3DS for the first time in a while and make a purchase![]()
Does Capcom have anything or is it just a panel like the previous years? Also I'm hoping Konami's conference is great as the looping one.
Doing it as we speak.DO EET!
Mutant Mudds is amazing!
I don't remember Capcom ever having a E3 Conference.

I wonder if Konami is going to repeat last year's "conference" that was.. special.
A couple dozen pages back along with a small graveyard.

No, lets continue. Its bringing out the dark side of some people...I love it.
I feed on the darkness
Ice.. remember when I said I like seeing you around here?
This is why.
The darkness - it is yummy. It's sweet.. almost like what I imagine a Maxim Tomato would taste like.![]()
Good to know I'm not the only one who enjoys the taste. I'd say it tastes a little tangy with a hint of cinnamon. Tastes, oddly, delicious.Ice.. remember when I said I like seeing you around here?

That's why I'm here. I have way too much excess darkness, and I feel lighter every time I visit this thread.

Mighty Switch Force is a ripoff.
You should have felt ashamed...but now you should feel awesome!
Enjoy it.
It's a blast.
Also, get Mighty Switch Force and Dillon's Rolling Western if you haven't.

Mighty Switch Force is a ripoff.
Disagree.
It's a great puzzle platformer, even if it is a bit short.
Maybe but in the long run it still sounds like sour grapes.I don't know about fans.. but from a business standpoint
When you see someone with so much, but so little of it actually goes your way. You want to lash out. I mean why can't the golden secret be shared with all
Maybe but in the long run it still sounds like sour grapes.
And to me, saying 'You buy a Wii, play Wii Sports and that's it' is almost as dumb as someone being brazen enough to say back in the day that "People just get the NES to play Duck Hunt with that toy Zapper gun."
Especially when the statistics show that the Wii is in the same attachment rate neighborhood of the PS3. Yet.. we never, ever hear such a thing about that console.
Mind-boggling.

What statistics? Latest I could find is that early 2009 PS3 attatch rate had overtaken Wii's.
Do you think we'll see a different colour Pikmin this time round?
If so, what powers will they have?

One little snippet I find interesting:
Of course this doesn't have to come to fruition, but if it does it would be kinda nice.
Finally, the patent application also details a mode of operation in which the game system cooperates with TV broadcasting, where the controller can display information about programs while the TV is being watched. While users can input the current channel into the controller to download information, the application also mentions the ability for the controller to directly control the TV through either the use of the infrared emitter on the Wii U controller, the Wii sensor bar, or the Wii U controller's integrated sensor bar.
I would consider 8.76 and 8.21 to be in the same neighborhood.
Found them as of Dec 2011:

edit: would be US only though
But what about for download titles only?

To further support the thread title (and because I had nothing to do) I made a Metroid Dread poster. I wish I would've made it bigger but that's just what I ended up with -___-
We were not allowed to set the price, Nintendo set the pricing, telling us after a week it would be 1000 points.
I don't like the idea of Nintendo setting prices. I hope with the eshop, developers are the ones setting the prices.
Also, Nintendo needs to let developers have the option to price their game super low if they want to.
For some reason, I expect for a Wii U pikmin to pop up from somewhere in that underbrush.
Metroid - Pikmin crossover! Samus must exterminate the Pikmin who feed on the Metroid who feed on the SA-X.
It would also be nice if devs/pubs could change their prices at will, like doing a sudden sale, without having to do anything more complex than logging into ushop.warioware.com, mouse-wheeling a spinbox, and clicking a button.
Nintendo does need to learn the term laissez faire. Also, I hope I spelled that correctly.
Samus vs. 100 red Pikimin, I don't know who wins man.
"A bit short" is a fantastic understatement.

I believe they do. (Let devs set pricing) When we learned that Mutant Mudds was $9, Jools justified his reasoning for the price it was.

I am going to bake a pikmin carrot cake for the night I pick it up. I will take piks.
Am I the only one who is always surprised at how low attach rates are. I mean throughout the life of a console the average person only buys 8-9 games?
