There are pictures of Mario64 and Mario Kart 64 shown running on that device on the info page. The resemblance is troubling.
If they show it with Fruit Ninja it must be multitouch.JinXing Digital released recently the S7100 that may appear as a Wii U padlet ripoff/replica, it's actually an "android gaming tablet".

They also show it with mario kart on the page. So it will be multi-blue shell too!!If they show it with Fruit Ninja it must be multitouch.
CHINESE DEVICES ALSO ARE MORE POWERFUL THAN WIII UUUUUU!!111@@àà##!!!
Yeah... does anyone remember if the, ahem, Wii-lookalike products started to flood the market this early?i posted this because the aspect of the tablet is "interesting".
The Wii U controller has the same near-field technology as Skylanders. Would you like to bring the Skylanders franchise to Wii U?
Alex Ness:
I love the idea of bringing the Skylanders franchise to everything!

2.The other one is more important and he has validated its existence but cannot reveal it due to an NDA. No hint but "good times are coming."
Please, let this come.
Then, it, Smash, and Pokemon can make billions of dollars on tiny figurines or cards, or whatever they decide to sell. Then, hundreds of clones will copy them!
The Wii U reveal is going to be absolute hilarity - no one will care about the spec once the line up details start coming out.
I can see the NFC feature abused by some developers, i hope it's well done, with figurines/other products of good quality, with not exaggerated prices, and a real additional value for the experience within the game these are tied to.
Wishful thinking, i know, but i hope at least Nintendo will have a good & smart utilization of this (even better and more interactive than the Kid Icarus cards). The incomes that this may generate are promising, but they mustn't be detached of interesting & creative ways of using it.

This isn't the first time I have seen this game mentioned. Super Mario 4 was released in 1990 for the Super Famicom. We know it as Super Mario World.Super Mario 4

Obviously Paul Gale is refering to Zelda Fire and Profecy and Zelda Ice profecy.![]()
If the console takes the way of "figurines everywhere", then there will no more exist good points to deny the fact that Nintendo Console are toys for children.I can see the NFC feature abused by some developers, i hope it's well done, with figurines/other products of good quality, with not exaggerated prices, and a real additional value for the experience within the game these are tied to.
LoL, do even know if its first or third party?
Fourth Party
Am I the only one who is always surprised at how low attach rates are. I mean throughout the life of a console the average person only buys 8-9 games?

I think the fact it hasn't been confirmed is reason enough to presume it's not the case until it's been confirmed.

Any game Paul is talking about would be third party. I'm betting its CoD as well.
At that point, total US software sales between the two would be pretty nearly tied. It'd be down to how much rounding there was, really.Found them as of Dec 2011:

I'd expect most publishers may be keen to use it for things like scanning online passes, eshop download cards etc. ..or as an additional anti piracy measure (include an electronic sticker on every game box which has to be scanned by the controller before the disc will play).

what?So if you put PS360 each on 40000000 units sold and Wii on 80000000 units
it will be 364000000 software units for 360
it will be 332000000 software units for PS3
and it will be 616000000 software units for Wii
that is not a bad thing for Wii and I'm sure you can find a good place on Wii with your game!!

This is my guess as well.Maybe the 3DS mario and the Wii-U mario are one in the same, or connect together somehow.

and perhaps even.....TRANSFARRING.We're a hive mind. We tend to pop up this particular idea about once every two weeks.
Somebody actually brought it up yesterday, I recall. I think it's a pretty interesting idea that should be repeated often. Nintendo's first foray into the "multiplat" realm? Very cool if they can make it more than just "same title, different platform, please give us money".
and perhaps even.....TRANSFARRING.
Er. This is the US breakdown. The tie ratio can vary dramatically from region to region, so it's probably a bad idea to apply one region's tie ratio to the world's hardware sales.. Do we have approximate numbers for Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360 in the US as of that date?
Also, PS3 and 360 as of end of last year were both substantially higher than half the Wii hardware total.
Edit, sales up to March 2011 for the Wii were 86m, so the number is probably ~90m or higher as of End of year 2011
