i think it makes sense. Jason and Lucia being a couple means that they are going to be doing all the missions together compared to GTA V where it was 3 random dudes. I don't really see why this would be a problem and could be an easy implementation by Rockstar

No chance.

It will be the same as GTA V and Spider-Man 2 where both will have their own missions with a few overlapping where the other is controlled by AI.

Not happening. Would be cool though but i imagine this playing out more like GTA5 story did.
GTA6 Online will handle this sort of thing.

Let me be your glimmer of hope.

Scott Butchard, Senior Design Director at Rockstar, said something interesting to GQ Magazine, back when the Cayo Perico Heist released and was the first heist designed to be playable solo:
"We want to respect teams and players who want to play co-op. But at the same time still allow solo players to still get just as valid an experience out of it."

And:
"I think you can see that with Online and I think going forward we're going to inject more of that single-player element in there," indicating a future direction towards blending these elements.

Over the years they blurred the lines between singleplayer and online, allowing for solo sessions and making group content soloable. Allowing for online co-op of singleplayer content is not a stretch.

Coop will be limited to whatever they introduce in the next rendition of GTA Online. I'd wager a great deal on the 'campaign' being single player only.
