At 12AM in each country.Yeah all I have is the Windows Update saying my Windows 10 is reserved or whatever...when does it come out!?
ah,
nice.
Thank you.
I'm installed and setting up apps. Make sure automatic updates are set and retry to cmd prompt code. I did it in c: and system32 folder

Well it's past 2 am in Sweden and I still got it's reserved.

At first it didn't work. So, what I did is I download every "Update for Windows 7 for x64......". Restart the system. Check for updates again and saw 3 new Security updates. Updated, restart, used the cmd thing. Alas, it started downloading the windows 10.How do you do this?
Same here.
I couldn't get it to work, this post got me goin though. Changed update settings, ran command, then told windows to Check For Updates. Started to download woo!!!
Oh shit, the command works.
You have to have the windows update window already open, and make sure to launch CMD as administrator.
You can install it tomorrow. The pre-load has already begun. Is this just to download or to install as well?
that cmd prompt made my bt folder delete itself
its now went from 5.91 gb to 57mb
Is this just to download or to install as well?
GUYS! QUICK UPDATE FOR THOSE DOING THE wuauclt.exe /updatenow:
It may not be the case for everyone, but my experience led me to believe Windows Update needs to automatically download and install updates for this to work. I had it set to not do so originally, which is why I couldn't get the Windows 10 update.
MAKE SURE YOUR UPDATE SETTINGS ALLOW WINDOWS TO DO ITS DUTY!
*ahem*
carry on folks. :3
Same here. Central time zone. Currently copying files. Its installing for me after using the CMD prompt.
Only thing that has changed for me is this:
changed from: Today at XX:XX to the now Today at 12:24PM (Failed)...Hmmm...I wonder what failed...

This might be a good thing.
It's failed because it's not time for you to update yet. When it's midnight in your zone it will hopefully update.
My BT folder is at ~6.5 GB, what would wuauclt.exe /updatenow do differently on my end?
The "wuauclt.exe /updatenow" worked.

Yup. That's what happened. I only need to get the BT folder anyway since it is not showing up on my Drive CI think this is going to start the download but not the actual Windows 10 install. I did it earlier.
