Thanks. Is that part of a language pack I can download?
yeah (this right to left is throwing me through a loop)

finding my way back to the control panel was no easy feat either

Not sure if this was asked already but one problem I'm having is "casting" videos from "Metro" apps to other devices like my Xbox One. I used to be able to select other devices to play to from the Charms menu while a video was playing but I'm not sure where (or if) the equivalent exists in 10 without the Charm menu.
Anyone know?

My dad hates it lol
It hasn't destroyed my sound, but I ran into a weird bug. Remote desktop connections sometimes nuked my sound, and then when I disconnect and go into the computer, my sound is dead in any app that's still running, but if I restart them, works fine. I don't have a bug report tier replication step and it could be hardware-specific, but just felt like I'd mention this in response.
Go to the "Action Center" (notifications menu, button next to the clock) and press "Connect".
So I installed the intel rapid storage technology, and now my hard drives show up under the safely remove menu? They are showing up as devices.
If I try to uninstall the Intel RST, I get an error that it's pending reboot. A reboot does nothing obviously.
I just did a clean install. Did I screw up?
how do I get windows 10, I reserved my copy but it I haven't gotten anything?
I STILL can't update to Windows 10. It gives me the something on your PC needs to be addressed before installing Windows Insider Preview error.
I go into the Windows BT folder, click setup there and it tells me a file is missing (folder is only 3.76GB.
I still have not seen any prompt from MS saying I'm able to upgrade.
I remember seeing people having this widget like thing for desktop where all executables are placed, as well as folders, etc. without filling the desktop but instead has its own scrollbar. Any idea what it is?
...the fuck is my WIN10 Microsoft?
Its on my SP3 and a backup laptop but still waiting to go on my main PC at home.
I wanted my home PC to be the first one I installed it on in case of any hiccups because I use the other two for work during the day. And it'll end up being the last.
One thing that really annoys me is the removal of the OneDrive App. I use OneDrive for my work files and liked having the app shortcut on my taskbar at the bottom of the screen for 1-click access. Now they've done away with the app and moved OneDrive access into File Explorer and now I've got to do 2-clicks instead of one. Yeah..first world problems I know but its really annoying. I have not found a way to pin OneDrive on the bottom taskbar. If someone has this knowledge, please share !!
I figured just to wait my turn on the rollout wave before grabbing Windows 10. Not in a rush about it, but has anyone actually been picked to start the installation in the rollout phase here?
You don't run setup.exe from windows.bt
Check windows update to make sure you have all updates. If you do, there is a registry flag you can change to get it to start the install process
You can also just download the media creation tool

Anyone know what the difference is between these two Action Center icons?:

quiet hours aka do not disturb
But on either computer I right-click the icon and it says "turn on quiet hours", implying that quiet hours are off for both.
To those who upgraded from OEM installations, did Windows 10 preserve your manufacturer logo under System Properties?

Unrelated, but is there any way to get my window frames to be colored like this again? Making all the windows white makes them all look unselected.Same for the taskbar, do I have any options or does it just have to be black now?

Speaking of notifications, I hate how often it lights up only to find out there's nothing there. Hope they get that fixed.
you can probably disable hot swapping in your bios/uefi if it bothers you. otherwise just ignore it (or use it)
