In his pants for Phil-sama & the green logo. You know, his employer.....Jez is Jezzing
Stop it. She talks like a politician. Check out this interview, she can't answer questions directly.
Phil may say lots of lies idk but at least he talks like a normal person.
Every year we get "Xbox is back"
Every Gen we get "Xbox will contend"
Every month we get "here's a new controller"
Every day we get "some stupid shit out of jez's mouth"
Yeah I feel like I'm playing Myst to solve a puzzle if I try understanding what she's actually saying. Everything feels fake and like she's pulling strings to get some good PR line in, but she's complicating things to the max for no reason, Probably the least interesting gaming person to listen to.yeah she is definition of a dei hire, doesn't have a clue about anything "gaming",
you can tell by the word salads coming out of her mouth even in fully controlled interviews.
phil is just a moron, but also is a genuine console warrior. at least was at some point, until war threatened his livelihood lol.
nowadays he jumps wherever satya points.
I don't think Xbox is culturally relevant anymore.
Yea I can't stand listening to Bond she the word salad shit drives me crazy. Phil is much better. He will BS but man at least he doesn't dance around a question for 5 mins saying nothing.Yeah I feel like I'm playing Myst to solve a puzzle if I try understanding what she's actually saying. Everything feels fake and like she's pulling strings to get some good PR line in, but she's complicating things to the max for no reason, Probably the least interesting gaming person to listen to.
I'm sure she's a lovely person though. But she should let somebody else speak.
Phil isn't a moron come on, he's just a gamer dude, feels genuine, can't even imagine him sitting at a desk doing suit tasks, it's as unlikely as if I would do that myself.
Jez Corden, writing for Windows Central, seems to have again written an entire article on one tweet made by a fan (included in the article itself, and below)
That said, maybe there is merit to what is being said. Maybe Xbox is turning a corner around now. I don't think it matters anymore, with them having thrown the hat in in terms of actually competing in the console market, but at least for existing Xbox fans, it sounds like things will be better than they have been?

Microsoft Planning Thousands More Job Cuts Aimed at Salespeople
Microsoft Corp. is planning to ax thousands of jobs, particularly in sales, as part of the company’s latest move to trim its workforce amid heavy spending on artificial intelligence.www.bloomberg.com
Last great Halo, I agree.

What do you currently play your Steam library on? A PC, right? A PC that you can also access gamepass…If this new console allows us to access our entire Steam library along with Game Pass (obviously), then I would buy it over the next PlayStation. PS5 for me has been a major disappointment this gen.
About that...Everyone who isn't in denial can see Microsoft is exiting the console business with its tail between its legs.
Is that why Xbox will celebrate their 25th anniversary with new hardware?Only 2 companies can succeed in this business, and Microsoft, Atari and my beloved Sega couldn't.
I guess the people who say "we're gonna launch a new console" despite struggling selling the current oneWho is really in denial?![]()
But they aren't exiting the console business, which is what RG claimed.I guess the people who say "we're gonna launch a new console" despite struggling selling the current one
sure, but doesn't mean they shouldn't. Or they'll launch a weird hybrid between a PC and a console (so basically a PC) and call it the new cornerBut they aren't exiting the console business, which is what RG claimed.

Are they really? Indiana Jones, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, Doom: The Dark Ages, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 are not Xbox games, but Bethesda and Activision titles, respectively.I think it's a fair assessment to say 'Xbox Game Studios' has turned a corner, they are releasing a lot of great games and have a lot on the near horizon. But they're also all coming to PS5 now, which means Xbox as a 'platform' is basically dead and pointless.

In fact, the last five proper Xbox Game Studios releases -- South of Midnight, Avowed, Flight Simulator 2024, Ara: History Untold and Senua's Saga: Hellblade II -- have all ranged from being disappointing relative to the expectations around them to straight up being poorly received.
Similarities here are wildly close. GAF in general, shat on the Switch when announced, missing the allure of the hybrid draw. Now XBOX aiming something similar in a disruptive sense, a set top console like experience that plays other store pc games. If XBOX team can deliver on the OS side, attitudes will shift quickly.Well Nintendo gone from wii u to switch. So anything is possible.
Indeed

Speaking personally, I don't like PC gaming so MS it is as long as they offer something I can't get on PlayStation and Switch. Why? Why those people keeps supporting Microsoft?
He is going through it, the very definition ofLet Ethos_PS dream, Xbox has already been a console maker longer than his beloved Sega were.![]()
The only thing I can fathom is they think Xbox diehards will just use the Xbox Store and keep paying for GPU mostly and that they can convert some PC gamers / Steam folks over to buying stuff from Xbox store.Ya know Xbox as a platform is going into the toilet when they have to bring other storefronts to their system to interest people. If they do release a PC like Xbox with other stores that's a lot of revenue they would be losing. Also how they still gonna charge for online play. They would lose a lot of gamepass revenue if they had to adjust pricing for that.
