Yeah, I should probably figure out if my nodo backup works still. But not until you guys tell me you got your at&t update prompts.
I hope for your sake, you don't have to go through what I did for a few hours.

I guess this weekend sees me roll back to No-Do.

Which also means I need to restore my PC to Windows 7, to perform the restore and update.

So quick question for those of you here who have changed your Windows Live ID Password. Did it mess up your phone and how it was connected to your gamertag?

I am going to update my password via my 360 and stopped before hitting the button wondering if this would mess up my phone.

Anyone have any issues when changing your password? For some reason I got cold feet thinking it would mess up the connection from my phone to my account.

Changed mine about a week ago. The phone just told me the details were incorrect, so I re-entered the password and everything worked fine.

I changed my password via web and LIVE pops up on the phone if it tries to synch Live or if you go to the Live app. Put in your new password and you are good to go.

One weird thing is - I never need to change my PW on my xbox, which I do not understand.

AFAIK you can only have your Gamertag active on one Xbox at a time, so they're just linked with a key rather than signing in through Windows Live.

First time posting in this thread, I think. Forgive the incredibly noobish question: I have a Samsung Focus, how do I know if I have a 1.3 or a 1.4? I'm looking under "about" tab, but I don't really know what I'm looking for.

Look under the battery on the label.

Such a simple, yet amazing idea. I am in love, as long as it really makes it to market. And soon. I have had this idea for years.

Really nice concept. So there's a game pad, extra battery and keyboard but what's the 3rd one? A second screen?

Yeah apparently that's what it is.

stupid question: if I buy a used Samsung Focus can I just pop my sim card in and that's it? Or do I need to call at&t and activate it? Or any kind of activation process?

Just pop a sim into it. I have one if you're wanting to buy. :)

Hmm, so listening to Windows Phone Radio on the way home tonight, it was mentioned when talking about how work was going, that they still had something to announce soon concerning the Zune software. Not sure if that's about the web marketplace, or if we're actually getting some sort of actual feature update on the software, but it looks like they still have a card in the back pocket.

well it better be an ace, cuz theyl need it.

the zune announcement probably has something to do with windows 8. There will probably just be a integrated syncing service or something and you buy all of your content and stuff from the windows store. Probably still use zune for the other OSes though.

So I have to wait for teh mangos?

Pretty much. The funny thing for me is that I restored back to NoDo and then noticed that my calendar was missing my NHL game calendar (Kings lifelong!) and I was thinking WTF...then I realized it was a Mango feature. Oh well, only days to go now.

Man I'd wait till the last day before going from beta to nodo.IMO.

I wanted to, but at the same time, I wanted to be sure that my restore was going to work. In the meantime, it's given me the opportunity to re-add all of the apps, wallpapers, settings etc that wouldn't have been saved over from the last month I used Mango, to my NoDo state.

Really, I'm excited more for my sister and nephew who went over to WP in the last few weeks and have never experienced Mango/7.5. The difference will be like night and day for them.

Exactly what I'm thinking. I'd panic if I rolled back to NoDo and I didn't get the update notification to mango!

Did you restore using the batch file or paste the back up in Zune? I don't want to mess it up when it's time to roll back.
