antiquegamer said:If you get official No Do then you should also get Samsung update (they are bundle together). Samsung update only show up separate for people that either unbranded or use Chevron Update tool.
Some people did report that they haven't got the update on their stock phone and I assume this is because it's another rolling update and may be some region of the country is not getting the update yet. (Not sure where you are at)
antiquegamer said:Anyone notice any other change with No Do and Samsung firmware beside the commonly known fix
- camera default to anti-shake
- fix mic/headset bug
- fix bluetooth bug
- my podcast cover show up now (it never did before)
wpcentral report that the capacitive button area is disable so it won't get activate by accident. You have to specific put finger directly on the "button". I test this just now and yeah it's much better especially playing game like fruit ninja.
Other thing I notice (but could be my crazy imagination) touch screen work better now when phone is laying flat. (before it sometime would not register the touch when not holding in your hand.
Also I didn't know if this was possible before but now I can have more than 1 bluetooth connect at the same time.
If you are using "unapproved" SD card and your phone reboot it will tell you that you have unapproved card.
Icon lag seems to occur less than before, not sure if this is firmware / no do or the new SD card I put in but I haven't have of the lag in both home and the app list.

Sometimes it's in my pocket and it does the text tone + the extra one when I'd assume the light sensor picks up light, which is weird cause it's in my pocket. It also seems to do it sometimes when it's flat on my bed in light and I pick it up. Not sure if there's a weight sensor? Maybe I'm crazy.

I've run into the bug once since updating 20 days ago, so nope.bigswords said:I wonder did NoDo patch fixed the alarm bug.
Example Alarm will ring, when you press dismissed or snooze , all sound/game / music output will be lost till a full restart of the phone is done.

Commodore said:Anyone tried this? Decent game, looks fantastic. Surprisingly smooth. Basically you're Han Solo in a daft punk inspired tunnel, dodging colored boxes, trying to survive as long as you can. I hope it ends with you escaping a disco ball as it explodes into millions of sparkles.
EDIT, also turn OFF the sound of the video below. Reviewer is...ugh. Play Daft Punk instead.

How come "mun", "ree", "nae", and "pere" are words and "cuban" isn't? Come on.

PS: What are the steps to reenable the speed increase for 3g on the focus. Searching for that info is a bitch on my phone.

I haven't tried that many games, but of the ones I have tried these are the (non-Xbox Live) games that I would recommend.Brettison said:I gotta be honest. I've yet to find a non crap game in the gaming part of the marketplace that wasn't an official XBLA game. Sad I know.

but having to get my brain to work AT ALL in a moblie game is a nice treat in and of itself.![]()
And while we're at it:VanMardigan said:While we are talking good free games, I'd like to throw out Unite, a physics/accelerometer game where you guide metal balls and get them together. Also, Swipy Man is a lot of fun.

The chart above shows a few of the devices that caught our eye from Occasional Gamer and we'll try to break 'em down for you:
HTC Mazaa: reported as a Sprint HTC Trophy, some of us actually believe is this is the finalized Verizon device instead. Reason? With 98 devices running Perez's games, that seems more like a device in tester hands, ready to be rolled out rather than in development--and we know the Verizon Trophy is out in the field, being tested. And we find it odd that a Sprint Trophy would be in more hands at this point than a Verizon version.
Samsung GT-I8703: We still don't know what this phone is--possible variant of the Focus Omnia 7
HTC-MWP6885: likewise, we saw this earlier too and still have no info on this device ID
DELL Advist: this is new and may one of the reported Dell devices from the leaked roadmap back in February
HTC MSM7x30: clearly this is HTC testing out Qualcomm's latest chipset (see Engadget), which was just approved for the Windows Phone 7 chassis specs. Good to know that this will becoming probably in the fall
HTC-PC40200: reported by the FCC as a CDMA Trophy--possibly for Sprint or just an earlier, pre-production model still floating around
I got to be number 4 this morning but there were only 30 of us playing. Me and the lady will sit down and play for twenty minutes before we fall asleep.Commodore said:I rarely reach 200 points, still haven't made it into the top ten. I use LindyReader/Dropbox for reading manga like crazy on my Windows Phone and I thought to myself, why can't we do the same with MS own service, SkyDrive?
PG2G said:It'd be nice if apps would give the option of saving your information to skydrive so you could retrieve it after a reset or removing the app. There is probably no easy API for it.
Supposedly that is in the works. Like alot of shit though it's a wait for Mango thing sadly.MCD said:Is there any way we can make use of Skydrive? Like, how can I use it like Dropbox?

antiquegamer said:LOL, no offense taken, English is not my first language and at time I know my posts came across as something written by a first grader. Also, I usually type my responses or posts at work and in between doing other things and I often get interrupted, which lead to posts that are incoherent mess. (Working night shift also doesn't help matter). I am sorry and I will try to write better in the future.
kazinova said:New random error:
I awoke to find my phone plugged in and unresponsive, as if it were off. Pulling out the cord and replugging it in did nothing. The power button wouldn't turn on or wake the device no matter how much I pressed it. Finally, I had to pluck the battery out and put it back in and then the phone powered on as normal with a fully charged battery.
Alarms were set, is there a new alarm bug? I also sync wirelessly, that might be the culprit as well. Any thought? Similar experiences?
