Hate is such a strong word. I remember her as someone who likes Nokia and Symbian to an extend and isn't very fond of Microsoft. But like I said earlier, I don't listen to the Engadget failcast anymore, so no clue if she's changed her opinion.Complex Shadow said:Does he really hate MS that much?

Pressing dial sometimes will unlock the lock screen and begin dialing a number.
Phone has screen of death from time to time which requires a complete reset.
Anyway, sucks how planned obsolescence: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planned_obsolescence forces customers to buy new things.

Hey guys, I heard Verizon is switching to GSM because now they're putting SIM cards in their phones. /sarcasm
Side story: I had a ex-friend's acquaintance who told me that Verizon runs on GSM as he really believed the Vodaphone SIM cards on Verizon phones allowed that. Man, he was such an idiot.
Nah, we both lose. No one is the winner.
Why don't you keep it? If you ever stop by the Google campus, you can take a picture of the N1 phone next to the Android deserts.Copernicus said:You should still buy my N1, it's a damned artifact from history.

Two things I hate. Gloss and chrome. I love a nice matte finish.Korey said:Watching that Engadget review video, I really love the N9's polycarbonate or whatever material, but then when they compare it next to Samsung's glossy phones, I love those even more. Matte just doesn't look as good

Hey so tell me this, guys. I don't have an xbox live account. Presumably there are WP7 games you can get with acheivements, yeah? Does that mean I need to HAVE an xbox live account? Does that mean I can register and use one on the phone without actually having an xbox?
Ugh, I'm the complete opposite. I find glossy plastics and chromey metallic surfaces absolutely terrible and cheap looking. Smooth aluminium/matte plastic, like on the HTC Titan/N9 looks so much better, IMO:Korey said:Watching that Engadget review video, I really love the N9's polycarbonate or whatever material, but then when they compare it next to Samsung's glossy phones, I love those even more. well, for screens with deep blacks, glossy just looks better. For example, TVs. Who has a matte black tv?NotTarts said:Ugh, I'm the complete opposite. The "Searay" Windows Phone will have a similar casing to the N9 with some minor adjustments (the required physical camera button, FFC presumably).Heavy said:Will the Nokia 800 have the polycarbonate as well?
Also, I'm a bit confused... the N9 isn't going to have WP7, right? It's just Meego?
