Ahhhhhhhhh I didnt even get home last night. Our bosses took us on a boat cruise during the afternon where there was free booze. Instead of going up to the school to research, we kept the buzz going at someone's house. I didnt have a mind all day.

I came home -on time-, believe it or not. I rushed home to get our game in, in fact. But I came home to drama. So, an hour later, I came on the computer at approximately 11:30 EST to see if you had resigned yourself to my earlier suggestion, but instead found you angry with me. I'd be the same way. No matter what the reason, this is inexcusable.
Since my schedule is so crazy right now, I've been tempted to just forfeit. But it is the final and I would feel terrible to end the tournament that way. It is not fair to anyone and most importantly not fair to Hayami (or Fifty, the commish). I will continue to try and get a game together (no longer agreeing to times that would be shakey) if Hayami is willing. I also think it is fair if Hayami just wins by default since I have ****ed up twice and frustrated him so much.
If you wanna try a third time (ugh im awful), can you play mornings? I will have wednesday, thursday, and friday morning (any time. i can wake up, play, then go back to sleep..). Friday afternoon and evening as well.

Yes, it was a dramatic game, one marred by lag in the first half (for both sides... somehow). Valeron sent an amazing kick in the 47 minute from outside the 18. Italy was poised for the equalizer on a penalty kick, but once again Casillas came up BIG for the save. (Casillas had 9 total saves for the clean sheet.) A dubious goal in the 84' by substitute Luque sealed the win for los Espanoles!

Good game, though. It took about 20 minutes for the first shot on goal to happen, but then they came at a regular pace, back and forth. I think I actually hit the crossbar in the first half, but I dont remember if it was a shot or a header or what.
So, congrats! Well-deserved.
I'll have to back out of any future seasons. I'm going to be very busy. Even when fall comes, I'll be going to school full-time.
It's been fun, though. Thanks to Fifty for organizing everything.
