Heartcatch Precure - 33

Yuri learned the hardway that friendship is magic.

Cure Moonlight is back!! *fist pump*

I've got to ask, Toei is responsible for the Precure series aren't they? They jump the gun in so many OP's and ED's of their shows so consistantly it feels like it's their trademark.

Finding Renton to be "spineless bitch" based on the first 6 or 7 episodes or whatever says enough to me about the person watching the show, it's a warped view. It doesn't describe him at all.
It describes what he is in the first episodes. Some people might find it heroic that he takes the blame for those annoying orphans, but it really isn't. It's spineless (because he does it for Eureka) and it's stupid (because a) everyone knows and b) he can't be sure they learned their lesson).

And why the fuck did he take those fucks with him in ep 6, anyway? To teach them a lesson? No, it was just a brain fart! Good job, stupid! All they did was get in the way, they still don't respect him an episode later, and all he did was to put them into danger for no particular reason. Eureka should have slapped him senseless. But luckily for him, she's equally stupid.

Black Rock Shooter 4

I think my biggest issue with the show right now is how much of an obvious villain Saya is in the "real world". At this point I'm actually hoping for a downer ending that just leaves everyone else mentally broken as she walks off laughing to repeat the process at another school.

-Character designs by Ebata Risa
-CG-heavy animation production by Satelight
-AKB48 music
-AKB48 voice acting

AKB0048 sure is going to be a "treat" for the senses.

So... even with only 8 episodes, the Black Rock Shooter writers can't figure out how to work with the thin premise of the OVA. Ah, I see that Okada-bot's to blame. Go figure.

Blood-C - 04

The weather's great today~

Same, same as ever~

but it's starting to get a little creepy~
Nice cliffhanger

I approve of him, Saya. He can actually hold a conversation that's somewhat interesting.
She probably doesn't give a shit, though.

I'll watch it, just to justify my eternal hatred for AKB48!!

Black★Rock Shooter 3

I'm starting to understand that each arc has its own focus. First we had macarons, and now we have tears. Let's cry all the time!

I hate it that I love the style of these scenes.

Oh God, she's evil! :o

...

I bet she's a pedo.

Calling it AK47 is a bit confusing considering there is that other spring show about girls who transform into guns or whatever.

if there's one thing this show has succeeded at it's how it's made me appreciate the OVA that much more for what it did right.

I'd like to ak47 those girls, if ya know what I mean.
you're might enjoy the shit outta Upotte!! then!

Not enough people are putting loli Cthulu on their lists. :(

I put it in the "morbidly curious" section of my list. Swap out Eureka Seven AO for Jormungand and it otherwise still holds.

Well the art director for the original Milky Holmes was Shichiro Kobayashi. The art director of - Utena, Angel's Egg, The Castle of Cagliostro, Simoun and a bunch of other stuff.

And the art director for the current season of Milky Holmes is Toshiharu Mizutani, art director of Akira. I wouldn't have expected this kind of talent to be working on this show.

Mahou Sensei Negima animu final movie

I didn't sign up for this =/

Some of the fights were ok... but the overall plot, or lack of is kinda disappointing.

And hentai lvls of pantsu flashes.

Still a somewhat fun watch.

Upotte is the third strike in the chain begun by Kanokon and Ladies vs Butlers

I guess what I'm saying is that I'm not going near it

Zan Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei Bangaichi 2

That's probably about the closest thing to an ending I'm going to get from this show.
So in essences of what has been happening the last 10 episodes or whatever, we get an extended OP, cause I guess SHAFT finds animating OPs more fun than an actual episode.
I did like the bit about keeping stuff that shouldn't be alive alive, which of course leads to a zombie outbreak. Then, getting swept away by fads or something and subbing your own lines onto other people or something.
But, regardless of what might had actually happen, I am actually glad I am done watching this. I mean, it started good, season 2 was a blast, but man did it dragged on in season 3. From the time killers in every episode, it made the show just a chore to watch about a bit. Well, whatever, it was a decent run. Now hopefully I will start a new show that doesn't run out of a budget midway through, unless I pull up another SHAFT show.

Steins;Gate 25 (OVA)

Very enjoyable, I missed Okabe.
Arrested how many times for publicly declaring to be a mad scientist?

Kurisu being super moe.

wasn't SHAFT releasing an SZS special that was gonna be given to anyone that proved they bought all the BD boxsets?

Based off random googling, it does look like they were going to. But, besides that, there hasn't been any news or any reviews about it after the initial announcement. Then again, seeing as the three BD boxsets costs I think at least 800 dollars, only true fans would have ever seen this special episode.

BRS 04
I thought Kagari was 'saved' and back to normal, but it looks like she is possessed. Or is it that she has no memories because her other self is dead now?

Poor Yomi. I guess everyone is slowly going to get NTR'd until Mato kills/defeats their alter-personalities?

Guilty Crown 18

The most epic and minblowing first two minutes of any episode Ive ever seen, wow. But the episode was an emotional rollercoaster ride too, my tears. Second half has been just as good as the first half of the series.

Inori getting the character development was so nice and I enjoyed how her turmoil was overcome by Shu's effect on her and how she managed to pull him out of his being down and such over the events. Him crying started to get to me, it was sound hard and touching in a way when she sung. Hopefully he rescues her next episode. Though what was she doing? gif. Hopefully Shu and Inori can overcome feelings and defeat Gai + GHQ.

And one of my predictions may come true
Daryl had actions as if he will defect from ghq, epic scene he had

Vampire Princess Miyu TV 17

This is one of the more emotionally effective episodes of the show. Forbidden love between a human and non-human is a timeless theme. The longing of humans to reach beyond themselves, being an outcast from society yet finding acceptance in the arms of another, a passion so deep and so beyond ordinary experience that it cannot be contained by life but inevitably leads to death - this episode tapped into all those potent aspects of the theme. Eternal happiness is beyond the grasp of humans, Shinma, and Guardians alike.

Reiha is showing signs of becoming a much more complex character than the single-minded quasi-antagonist she's been up to this point. I hope a future episode delves into her past, as the story of how she became the person she is and how she partnered with her doll could be compelling.

If you're going to credit "one guy", which isn't very accurate but whatever, for Milky Holmes' good looks, that guy should be the chief animation director: Seiya Numata.

Nice-looking video. Numata has a very sharp-edged, distorted style of character animation which works well for crazy comedy.

In my prior post I was certainly not saying that the visual quality of Milky Holmes was due solely to one guy, which is always a simplistic reduction, but simply intending to convey my surprise that several of its staff were involved with some of the great classics of the medium.

You know, that's actually what I thought. I'm just not buying it. Maybe because I'm too old. But then again, I've never idolized anyone, so it might be even harder for me to swallow.

The problem is that the whole show is too naive for it's own good. Having recently finished FMA Brotherhood, another show I'm technically far too old for, this becomes even more obvious.
Ugh why are your posts so obnoxious

Why does the thumbnail gallery allow me to click on a pic to "enlarge" it... only to give me a slightly bigger thumbnail? Lol Japan.

Certainly looks up to KyoAni's usual standards. This is a particularly interesting shot that I'd like to see the context for.
