Wow, I did not expect an episode centered on Ruri to be so emotional. Holy cow, that poor, poor girl. MSN is really like, I don't know, actually the best mecha anime I've ever watched. Full Metal Panic! remains my favorite, but I can now say that MSN is definitely the better show.
I mean, WOW. Like, every actual character has a unique, likeable personality that brings life to the show. Every episode, EVEN THE RECAP EPISODE, is spot on. I just, I mean, WOW.

Initial D Fifth Stage 1-4
Not really an episode review. Just a comparison to Fourth Stage.
They really putting Initial D into the shitter. The quality has dropped to dreadful levels. I wonder if they changed studios.
The art seems a lot worse and looks like the art from first stage (like the manga I guess). The race scenes are less exciting because of poor edits and less of the awesome eurobeat music. Also, I kinda expected Fifth Stage to not be as good since I follow the manga.
I was surprised they actually skipped one of my favourite scenes. This is so dreadful.

I'm only joking. Still, it is hard for me to see much in Cuticle Detective because it just feels like yaoi fodder. The premise is just impossibly bad, and frankly I probably have higher standards for comedy than I do drama. Cuticle Detective is slow, creepy, and generally just discomforting. Nothing about it is particularly well thought out or interesting.
Speaking of Tamako Market, when will KyoAni ever break out from the highschool girl genre? They clearly can do more wonderful things in other genres given by their talents and also when will we ever see a animated kiss scene from them? I've never seen any kiss scene from every KyoAni show I watch.
They did, in Clannad After Story. Clannadman was like college age when his life partner died.
