Oh, what? Psh. That's not animation. When I'm watching an animated work, I want to feel the disconnect the animator has with his family. But that's cheating because those animators probably make decent money and don't have to sleep under their desk.
Only French movie I've watched was Irreversible. So not moé.French movies are boring, don't watch them.

I'm sure its cozy under a desk.
Brilliant movie featuring "super-soft erotica" between two plastic horses and their gay friends Cowboy & Indian. Guaranteed to put a smile on your face!

Code Geass didn't have Dyson Spheres!
It's more of a cute girls having cute and innocent love stories manga/anime. I'm only two volumes in though.
Might check the anime later.
Seriously though this is one of the worst character designs I've ever seen. It's like it was deliberately designed badly. His head is a freaking square. I don't even need to go into the alien weirdness that Hirai's "noses" have evolved into.
As expected of moejita.
I'm sure you'll like it hahaThis sounds very :cajun. putting it on my list.
I think I saw it on Rightstuf.

I don't understand the half-assed cel-shaded look a lot of these space/mecha series go for where they add ugly simple unweighted lines and weird ugly phong-type shading to flatly colored CG models. It just looks bad and succeeds at looking like neither 2D nor good 3D animation. It's the worst of both worlds.
America and Japan have abandoned 2D animation, but it still lives on in the hearts of FRENCH PEOPLE.

This is seriously the best looking cartoon I've seen in quite a while.
Ouiaboo.
Ikoku Meiro no Croisée was great.
yes. Yune is a little moenuke.
I really would love to see a Gundam-like series (or mech anyway) in the vein of the new Battlestar Galactica in the sense that there are real physic concepts backing it such as no explosions in space or even sound.
Wakaba protecting what's hers.
No one would want to watch that though.

I for one hope it's (or any other future animu) not like the new BSG at all.
It could be good though! You can have people getting spaced and the strong atmosphere would really add to the sense of drama.
Have you ever heard of Starship Operators?
Al those uguus make me miss jiggy.
I've heard about it but that's really my extent of my knowledge.
See, even you don't want to watch a hard sci-fi anime despite claiming you do.
But that's Miya!
See, even you don't want to watch a hard sci-fi anime despite claiming you do.
I watched 2 episodes of that. It wasn't very good.
Most of the francanime I know of is old and of varying quality, like the awesomely weird Fantastic Planet (available on blu-ray from Masters of Cinema today!) or the highly-regarded but kind of dull Le roi et l'oiseau which, like my beloved Utena movie, is best appreciated for its scintillating architecture pornography.
But aside from Panique au village, Triplets of Belleville, and The Illusionist, A Cat in Paris was a really pretty good and uniquely styled recent French animu movie which nevertheless received strangely little attention even after an Oscar nom. It's even on Netflix instant so no one has any excuses.
I'm talking about Croisee.
This episode was surprisingly very awesome. Chiriko is a very good protagonist and the battle itself this time was very good too. Some :80s fun and all. Also I swear her thighs are getting bigger and bigger. I wish I could have GIFed this one as it was a pretty neat detail.
She seems to remind me of a different animal each episode.
Was the Toriko movie pv *Gekijō-ban Toriko Bishokushin no Special Menu * mentioned?
Anyway, odd if they are really using Guts Guts as the theme to the movie..its been used for 90+ episodes of the anime.
How about the excuse of not having a Netflix account? It's even on Netflix instant so no one has any excuses.
Alright, I'll give it a watch. I know this is a trap but whatever.
Disregard then! I'm tired and I think I'm getting sick, so I clearly have no idea what I'm talking about.
And on that note:
Hidamari Sketch 2
I really feel like I should save this for when I'm more awake/not feeling like shit. So many sudden cuts...I can't keep track of what's going on!
Seriously, this is the most frantically paced show I've seen in a long time.
All of the Francime talk only served to make me remember Miraculous Ladybug. I think I'll cry myself to sleep tonight.

Not everyone lives in North America yo.How about the excuse of not having a dvd player? living under a rock?
As someone who's not opposed to watching a decent shonen show, is Toriko any good? Seems like something I may kind of be interested in checking out.
