There's a joke about Jesus making wine from water and bread from rocks (apparently he only has authority of Rye bread) in the OVA. And one about the person who first fed Buddha rice gruel after he was totally being ascetic for a while. One of my favourite manga running gags is about Jesus and his relationship with Judas, lol
Not that joke in particular but yeah something along those lines.
There's a reference to Jesus turning stone to bread for instance. Though I'll have to admit that not knowing a lot of information about it, a few of the Buddhism jokes were lost on me. It's all played off very light-heartedly which I actually liked a lot.

This show's losing me, all the stories are getting connected.
I think Blondie knows way too much. How does he do it?
I still don't understand how the order of the novel publications fits into all of this.
I know but I had to find out how good it actually is.
About to go order some curry and sit down to marathon a few more episodes.
I guess I will follow this with Smile and just watch the shitty ones some other time.
This episode was definitely better adapted than I expected. The rooftop scene in particular, given how studios seem to like to cut most of the protagonist's inner monologue in shows like this.
Also, the OP really was made just for this episode. I quite enjoyed how the preview hits you in the face with it again, just in case.
Only one episode left now, hopefully it actually has some great animation and fights in it. This episode was relatively entertaining, but goddamn the art on the show is so mediocre and the lack of interesting animation makes it feel less exciting than it should. Meh.

No no, I meant offensive in the sense that religious people probably won't like it because they make fun of Jesus and Buddha's stories. Its a great manga.
This manga could only ever work in Japan because its a very non secular country.

Oh hey, we've finally looped back around to that scene from the very start of episode 1.
The conclusion of Kaito and Akiho's romance arc would have probably been more effective if I actually gave a damn about anyone in this show. I just can't bring myself to care anymore; hurry up and beat the bad guy so I can freely start trying to make sense of the plot without having to worry about spoilers.
So, even if I agree with duckroll that Psycho-Pass isn't quite living up to what it could be, it's still far more enjoyable than Robotics;Notes. This double-season noitaminA slate looks like it's going to be a split, one winner and one loser.

I think Australia at least probably wouldn't give a shit.
And America tolerates South Park, where Jesus hosts a public-access television show, organises a comeback concert for Rod Stewart to avoid getting crucified in 2000, and fights the alien from the movie Alien. I think the States can handle a little sacrilige.
I'm so backed up. I need to finish a piece for a friend that's already underway, then after that I need to draw your girl, and one of these days I need to get back to my book and finish that. I always do this to myself. >>;

If the Family TV Council or whatever organized some kind of protest against Saint Niisan ala the shit they pull on South Park, it will tank Kodansha or Vertical or whatever the publisher is. Saint Niisan can only ever survive in a niche and if it hypothetically gets unwanted attention in America (which has lotsa religious nutsos) it won't survive.
The flashback that played at the start and then at the ending was as good as many of the others. Their first meeting with Aika in their younger days was really interesting, funny, and provocative to give more insight into all three of them. Really enjoyable as well as how it tied into both Mahiro and Yoshino's respect and trust/appreciation of each other and their similarities in the present times multiple times in the episode. Am ready for this final arc to take off.
For the big moment this episode
Hanemura actually snapping and going all out against Yoshino and Mahiro was shocking. I thought both of them would have eventually broke down and cried and wept for Aika not Hanemura. I wonder if it will actually happen once things wind down, if they will grieve, accept, and move on. Mahiro being back to his epic and confident self was the huge highlight and pumped me up, as well as seeing Yoshino excited by it

As much as I would actually want resolution from all of this, I expect to get nothing especially since Vol.9 was 'delayed indefinitely' recently, so Rika end plz.
The funny thing is even if they are given the go to translate it, they can still worm their out of doing it cause the manga is approaching the 10 volumes limit Vertical placed on themselves.
I know Rowan Atkinson from the show Blackadder as well actually. Then there are those couple more recent James Bond like films named Johnny English. I don't remember if I've seen any of the first one though, I'm just more aware that they exist.
Guys if you've started a precure serie , keep at it untill the end ..switching series mid way is no good , especially if you're having fun already .
Each precure serie has their strenght and weakness ... no use to switch around for another flavor , if you haven't finished eating the one you have already.
As a responsible Catholic I have decided to seek the permission of our new Pope before partaking in Saint Young Men. I shall send a letter to Pope Francis about the matter.
This more than makes up for last week's episode. The question of Rei's neck mark was explained
apparently it's the number of level-up arrows she has left and not the number of monsters of the week are left
or maybe I''m just dumb and didn't catch that in the past episodes.
And she also vanishes from the world if her last arrow isn't a success.
That ending is going to lead to a great last couple of episodes, my butt is never going to be ready.
Also this piece of lewdity that is so lewd even I wouldn't put it in my post. Yes it's a butt, don't open around your loved ones unless they too love the butt!

So I just got back form part 1 of the Madoka Magica movies. If was really well done. a few subtle little changes here and there, but it was mostly what you would expect from a recap of the series.
But I do have a question, something I was pondering in the series too,
I don't think I ever caught the mark disappearing from her neck after an arrow was shot. In ep 2 I'm pretty damn sure it disappeared after the Alone was defeated. Whatever, it was 2 months ago so I'm not going to beat myself up for it too much.

They didn't really visually exploit that so you may have missed it but I'm sure the show talked about it. I watched on CR though so I don't have screens of the occurrence.
