Is it also able to resize things like map and quest notifications?
Disgusting.
Where's Shani?
Yea, the concern should more be if the features those HUD elements represent are adequately represented in the game.
Or rather, I hope so anyways. I want to run a minimal HUD but don't want to miss out on gameplay functionality.
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=161796769&postcount=335 and 1st picture, "HUD Size". This to me implies that it scales all elements of HUD to value of that slider.

Have they said if you can turn off the HUD in the console version?

Dude, just admit it. The water looks terrible and so does the foliage. The hair looks like straw and character models are atrocious and move like robots. The voice acting, too, is abysmal. Oh, the combat also sucks, they should make it like Souls games for it not to suck. The game also has MAJOR framerate issues. It's time to admit nobody is getting the game they were promised.

This seems like its gonna be the first open world game with fully-detailed interiors that are all loaded at once with the outside world. Crazy when you think about it.
Someone here will say it doesn't count, but yes, it had many different interiors that were seamless and open.ACU?
Yeah, but it's Assassin's Creed. Open world pretty is all it had going for it.. any of the Witcher games grind it into the dust in terms of sheer depth.
Pretty sure a lot of people didn't bother playing the steaming pile of shit that was ACU, so yeah... this is still the first for most of us.Pretty sure we werent talking about depth or anything but ok, sure.
Gophers vids are the best

Here is the full range of HUD options, since so many are curious about its customization. There is a second "rescale HUD" option in the main menu that is not shown here.

My thirst for the witcher is real right now. In trying to play on my PC and I have to play at 1028x768 right now and the framrate is a roller coaster on medium settings lol.
Getting my head around the combat and I know some people don't like it but I kinda enjoy how different it is.
Anyway really excited for the game and even more now since I have an idea of what's going on now lol.
How are you playing it?
So... I'm just having a thought experiment and looking at this game being quite a hardware killer and I'm wondering if there even exists any hardware that would be capable of playing this game fully maxed at 4k res with 120fps for 120hz?
Would dual Titans be up for the job? I don't think so.
Not sure what you mean by that? I'm playing with KB/m. I'm still in the proluge. I did pt 3 then 1 and now I'm on pt 2.
For combat I was spamming alot in the tutorial but I've slowed down a lot now and I try my best to single out the biggest threats first and take them out as quick as I can.
One thing I'm still not getting is how reposite works. That and what's the difference for enemies with heavy and light attacks
nah i meant how are you playing the Witcher 3 since it's not out yet? Or is it #2?

Nope. Not even close. 4xTitan Xs will not be up for the job. Are there any displays in existence that can even handle that input? I don't think HDMI 2.0 cables can handle it either.

1/4th of the buildings in Unity had interiors, (not counting historical buildings which have unique interiors) now consider that it's the densest AC game ever made. It's huge.Havent played it yet. Interiors in that seemed a little selective though, but yeah they were detailed and no loading i dont think. More talking about rpgs like Elder Scrolls etc.
Damn... so I guess that's really not a standard type of gaming setup... I reckon even 1440p is going to be hard for any cards to run this at ultra. Thankfully I'm putting this one on the couch mode I just wish there was a better way for selecting the different spells and bombs etc when using a controller.
I also recently finished Witcher 2 in Dark mode... that was damn hard. Damn hard I must say but saving every 5 minutes was a good idea.
I can't believe how insane 'Insane' mode must have been.
I wish the steam controller was out already. Could be the perfect fit for the job. Still not sure about those trackpads, but there are more than enough buttons at least
Is this a promotion thing or a cosplay thing.
