The only way the new Transformers film is over three hours long is if Bay has final cut on the project..., and I seriously doubt that Paramount would give Bay final cut on that film even if he did have them over a barrel when cutting his deal to direct the fifth film.

Wonder Woman's Chinese opening seems to be heading for the $25-30M range.

Given that WB had Wanda and Tencent in their corner for Wonder Woman (they even came onboard as co-fi partners on the film) I'm not sure how good a number this is.

OW similar to Man Of Steel but finishing it's North American run in the same ballpark as the first two Hunger Games films.

$400m give or take.

If it did MOS opening weekend that would be great. But damn I have to admit that is a bit lofty. I thought 100 million would be a stretch. I'd say 85 million with reviews and WOM bumping that up to maybe over 90.

But I have no idea what to expect. It'll be interesting to see how it performs on the weekdays since it's Summer for a lot of people.

I mean, at least you admit it's lofty.

Iron Man 3, fresh off the Avengers high, and Civil War both made just under $410m domestically. Guardians 2 will be at about $355m after this weekend and should start winding down after that.

I'm gonna go with a modest 85 million

Seems like a safe, sound number

Not a resounding success, but enough to be in the conversation

Sometimes you can't let facts and data get in the way of a good prediction. Sometimes you gotta have faith.

I'll bet that Wonder Woman makes at least $100 million for its opening weekend.

103.1 million dollars with underreported estimates but an incredible 18% hold on Sunday actuals wow this is really specific let's go in

Thinking it misses $100m as well, but still puts up a strong as hell opening. Also anticipate best DCCU legs yet.

Best DCEU legs yet has to be the least impressive milestone a film could aim for. DCEU legs are so bad that we were shocked by Suicide Squad's "great" rebound to a 2.43x OW multiplier.

Which boxofficeGAFers are seeing it this weekend? I know BronsonLee and I are, but I need to know who else to plug into my slide/bump algorithm.

I am going tomorrow at 7pm.

I liked Baywatch. I think critics woulda been a bit more forgiving if not for some of the more raunchier attempts at comedy. Rock acting up like that is funnier than anything in the film.
