Now it just has to be good.
I am both elated and horrified
Best thing to do is introduce Laura, kill Logan at the end and there you go. Wolverine is dead, Wolverine lives.Wonder if they'll introduce X-23 in the movie as rumored. Would be one way to keep "Wolverine" in the universe without having to immediately replace Jackman.
Wolverine in Japan was better than days of future past.Ugh is this gonna be like wolverine in japan? That was such a bore
Does Deadpool even age with time? I honestly don't know.Eh, this can't be Jackson's last Wolverine outing because he needs to do a Wolverine x Deadpool movie.
If those two have half as much chemistry on-screen as they do in reality, it'll be a riot. Don't even give the film a plot, just have Deadpool follow Wolverine around for the day and see how many limbs be has left by the end.

Too bad Yukio probably won't be in this. She was great in The Wolverine.
The Wolverine was a good film, just CGI samurai and Viper pulled it away from being great
Huh. Old Man Logan is gonna be pretty hard to pull off without the rest of the Marvel Universe charcters.
If I had to more closely adapt the comic book story, maybe have Sinister as the new Nazi leader, and have Blob or Juggernaut stand in for Hulk
Reintroduce Sabretooth
Maybe a soft-reboot of FF too, throw In relatively proper Doom?

I really enjoyed The Wolverine. The CG Silver Samurai sucks but everything else is solid
Hold on I'll put my Fox consultancy hat on... uhh idk fuck it why notbut will she travel back in time or something at the end?

.Im going to miss Jackman in this role. I really am.
Seeing nearly 20 years of Wolverine portrayals and none of them depicting the hero in any variant of his legendary headgear really feels bad to me.

I could see the mask working in an Old Man Logan-themed movie. An aging Logan could have his sense diminished, and the mask could act as a means to enhance his senses (hearing, smell, sight)Yeah, that's going to bug me forever. ESPECIALLY now that Deadpool is running around in the most comics-accurate suit ever.
And I agree, though I LOVE Hugh Jackman in the role, it's been twenty years and I've never seen "the Berserker Rage" that was so fascinating about the character in the films yet. He's gone violent in small spurts, but he always seems like he's in control. He can be angry, but he's never just an unstoppable rampaging tornado of rage and claws like other interpretations have shown him to be.
It'll be weird, cause Wolverine still doesn't say "fuck" in the comics. They can do all the violence and gore now though
Comics: "Carve out your opponents' intestines with razorsharp metal claws 'til they choke in a pool of their gastrointestinal fluids, but don't say the f-word or maybe we'll lose the kids"
He's Canadian, Cheradanine. Their f word is fudge.Logan has too much class for the f-word.
They really need to call it Old Man Logan as well.

But he's so chill in the movies most of the time, you'd never know. With a seeming aversion to fighting at all most of the time. Nothing like this oft unhinged, battle-salivating, no-fucks-given bloke right here.

Given how consistently they've pulled off the head gear for every other Marvel character, not having the ICON wear his ICONIC hat even once...sigh.
I'll also always feel like either Hugh was never the right choice for Wolverine or his scripts were never sufficient. Wolverine as a character is high-strung with an extreme temper and always at the edge of roids raging. Xavier has had to - on multiple occasions - jump into Wolverine's head just to stop him from hurting team members and the general public. He was a rampaging, uncaged animal that greatly enjoyed fucking shit up. Someone who was innately intimidating in every frame he was drawn in.

I take great pity on the people that need to decide who takes over the claws when Jackman is through...
And then the person wielding them. That poor soul.
