Up to the mods. But it certainly got nothing to do with the WC OT.

Edit:
To quote the OT:

Less politics, please.
Absolutely will affect the result / has something to do with world cup if denmark, germany or england decided to leaves/abort somewhere in the midle of this tournament

We can talk about if a team truly is planning to leave. Just don't think these ongoing arguments around whether or not you agree with that decision.

Now if one of the big 8/16 teams drop out... Yeah, that'd suck. I doubt anyone is dropping out from the tournament. Don't think anything like that has happened for any reason. If it did I'd imagine the other teams would get an automatic 3 points and they'd sort the point tally after.

Either way, I think UEFA and FIFA (along with CONMEBOL) are heading to a confrontation for all sorts of reasons including consistency on inclusion and how venues are picked.

I think UEFA in general is a little pissed having this in the winter, and all sorts of other issues they've been having with FIFA. This goes beyond what seems to be the players being frustrated - but the systemic corruption and misalignment around priorities. And without the big UEFA countries (along with the FA who also have issues) there's real issues forming.

Anyway - I think it's beyond comprehension for the tournament to unravel at this point with drop outs. I hope they don't.. I think this tourney has been set up in a way that takes away from the sport but there's been some great games already which may make it memorable.

Oh, since I suspect a few folks my be traveling or at family homes tomorrow.. if you don't control the channels or screen, maybe consider FUBO.tv (in the US only). Been using it for awhile, but has been a life saver on travel for me to keep tabs on the games.

Other folks have other viewing options?

Ah crap. Canada should had won. Either Canada is playing much better than thought (though they won CONCACAF), or Belgium played a lot worse than they did.
All the pressure was on Belgium, Canada just there to make up the numbers. That was the line given therefore if you are Canada players and manager, that’s your team talk. Go out and shove that idea that your just there to make up numbers up their ass.

And Canada did really well.

Are you out of your mind? Your elite Euro team just got dominated by a bunch of goal sucks who needed seeing eye dogs
Only one of us is out of our minds here friend. Clue: it’s not me.😂

I only referred to Spain and France. England also scored six. All European teams.

Germany should have spent more time concentrating on the football than covering their mouths.

For those here Bein sport has an internet-based service where you can watch anywhere. Not sure about other channels if they provide such a great alternative to TV's.

i cut cable the other week, and have been using youtube tv. Aside from some gui/ux issues its been pretty great for watching games at home or on phone.

Believe they have trials too for people

29th v 13th in the world. These rankings.

Korea playing well, very little between them. The level of football this WC is some of the highest I remember. Onwards.

Saudi Arabia 51 vs Argentina 3 (2-1)
Japan 24 vs Germany 11 (2-1)

I mean maybe they underestimated Asia teams?

52 mins should've been a Korea penalty. More in that than the penalty Argentina got. Where we getting these shit refs. 55 mins stamp could be red. Sack these shits.

Nah, FIFA rankings are just trash for a ton of reasons. ELO are better, slightly.

Still, the results are upsets even looking at the talent on paper - though both Japan and KSA had good lead up games to WC so there is case they are on an upswing. Either way, loving these results which keep the tournament interesting.

Not gonna lie. I'm excited to see Brazil later today. I have no idea what to expect, I don't even know who the players are haha
