So what is the most fun tank in the game right now? I used to play a warrior and raided all the way through C'thun for a higher end guild. I'm starting a new one and so far my dream of being able to do good DPS as a protection warrior solo and perhaps in PvP as well is coming true. Any thoughts on the state of tanks in the game in relation to each other?

Well, this feels a bit weird. We got to Garrosh today. That may not sound that impressive, but I need to highlight: We're a guild that (for example) took something like five months to get *to* Lei Shen in normal; we are in no way bleeding-edge. Getting this far this quickly is *huge* for us.

Of course, we've got to kill him, still, and there's a few bosses before him I'm still not particularly comfortable on (Thok in particular)... but all of a sudden, we sort of feel like we're ahead of the curve we're usually on - and well ahead of it.

To be fair it will have many uses beyond heirlooms, stuff like tokens, skill tomes etc. They needed to implement it regardless of new loot system is my point :P

Got my meta gem, only took 2 weeks and the first 2 parts of ToT to do. Now I have all possible bosses left for Runestones. Come on good luck don't fail me now.

Is there any guide on how to level battle pets really fast? I'm just fighting every pet I can find atm, but I'm not sure what the best way to train your team is.

Is it fighting one pet and switching around your team so everyone gets one xp or use one pet each battle so that it gets all the experience and then change to a different pet for the next battle?

Do you have any level 25 pets? It's only hard to get the first one there, after that you can just do dailies and there are a lot of them. If you are just starting pet battle just go through "campaign" and don't worry about fighting wild pets too much unless you can't kill the trainer.

The "campaign" is going through all the pet trainers around the world? I currently have a team of three pets, the highest one is lvl 8. Just wondering if I should focus on one pet or all three of them.

It's so damn addicting (not even starting on the achievements) but I want to do it right.

Yeah. Just go through trainers, I didn't really swap them out on purpose just the ones that died didn't get xp :P They all kinda leveled together.

What are the odds on Abominations ever becoming either a perma pet or something like the gargoyle or army of the dead as a Death Knight?

I always liked their look though I imagine they'd be a 'tank' which wouldn't be that useful for a DK.

Should I get three different types? I have Murkalot, Mini Thor and Deathy. Two of them are humanoid.

Level up a bunch of different types at the same time for the best result. Like, to do the Celestial Tournament you need like 15 (I think?) max level pets and having them all the same type will get you nowhere.

Is the Battletag add button in WoW broken? I've had two e-mail addresses to put in the field in the last three days and neither have worked. I've double and tripled checked the spelling, and I keep getting 'player not found.' The only way I can get it to work is to find the character in-game and right click add battletag friend. Which isn't always possible.

I got a motherfucking Ashes of Alar today.

That sounds like a lot of grinding. Then again, I guess it'll get easier once I unlock the dailies and when I can farm lvl 20+ pets.

Man I always seem to forget I play on Moon Guard - Alliance.

It's such a weird story about how I got on this server lmao. It's kinda like saying you live in Las Vegas, no one really seems to believe you because no one believes anyone actually plays on that server.

Every day you think you've seen it all but then something else comes along and you're left speechless.

Such is life on Moon Guard.

...I'm on Moon Guard too.
But good moon guard. Horde Moon Guard.

St. Bernard pet is a store pet :(

Oh well, at least the proceeds go to charity, like Moonkin Hatchling in 2010 and Cinder Kitten a year ago, that's cool.

Well only 6 bosses left, only 1 non guaranteed Runestone. I blame Grimace.

Fey Dragon needs to go up on the store, will probably buy the combo that they said would be available.

My DK is 77, and I'm ready for 90 and never level another alt. Because all I can think of is all the cool side game stuff I can do once I hit 90. I get in such a mode with leveling that I won't let myself do anything else but work on leveling until I've hit the cap. I won't do holidays, I won't do battle pets, I won't do professions other than First Aid. Plus, I'm ready have the income to buy not slow as fuck flying.

Isn't Moonguard the server where Goldshire is actually Pornshire? With people in underwear typing sex and vulgar stuff?

Once you get a small number of high level pets, it becomes real easy to level up the others. When you beat 40 world trainers and get the Taming the World achievement, you get a hat that grants 10% bonus XP. Some of the Pandaren dailies can give you lesser pet treats, granting another 25% XP.

'Course it helps to know where to grind. The most common place is the Dragonbone Wastes. The stablemaster is really close to a bunch of Dragonbone Hatchlings. A magic type makes quick work of 'em and you can level an entire team up rather quickly. And since healing is a short flight away, downtime is minimal.

I want. I can't wait to be a level 100 then just face roll that raid for a chance at it.
It's already faceroll I think. Takes me like 5 minutes on my hunter.

Just did it last night and sadly no Ashes for this week =[

But I did get the azure drake from Malygos a few hours ago. Now that I have that and the blue drake I never have to do Maly again.

Like Fjordson said, it's already faceroll at lvl 90. It's a lvl 70 raid after all, not 85. Casters have it a little easier since they can use that legendary staff to get immune to many of the add's CCs. What I do on my paladin, i simply scatter the adds on the 1st phase, so that i can nuke them one at a time while the others run toward me and avoid getting all 4 CCs at once. Especially the 1st add who walks instead of running, just kill him on the far side of the room.

Moon Guard is a good server IF you're in a guild with friends. I can just see some random person rolling on there and reaching Goldshire. Poor souls. I stay far, far away from that zone unless the Darkmoon Faire is up.

:lol wait, why? Goldshire is just a bunch of people dueling and fucking around on my server.

You must have the Warlord title to transmog vanilla gear.

You can actually be as low as Knight-Captain (or whatever the Horde equivalent is). I love rockin my old world PVP set. At least I got something for that title grind.

Whisperwind for life. I doubt it, any gaffers on this server?

YEP! WW since day 1 release. Some great times on this server. Alliance side though. Let me know if you need a guild

Because of this...

It's a cesspool of wannabe sex addicts (mostly horny teenagers I imagine).
Ohh, lmao. Totally missed that post. And just realized Moonguard is an RP server. It all makes sense now.

I've always wondered what it's like to be on a serious RP server. RP'ing isn't really my thing, but I can see how it'd be fun I guess. So long as you avoid the weirder pervy shit.

So two mounts can drop at the same time in The Eye?
Yup. Happened to a friend, the lucky bastard. Blue and azure in the same run.

It's weird, I had like perfect luck in 25 man Maly. I don't think it actually affects the drop rate, but I did the 10 man version for like four months every week and never saw either drake drop. Whereas I've done 25 man just to fool around twice in the last month and I got a drake each time (blue one two weeks ago, azure today).
