So what's the best legendaries for a frost mage?
Hey Paladin GAF! I made an addon called Righteous Power and thought that some of you might find it useful. It's a simple, movable Holy Power frame that tracks your Shield of the Righteous charges when you're in Prot spec. (Sorry Holy Paladins; it doesn't track anything for you, though I'm open to suggestions!)
I originally made this addon for personal use at the start of the expansion, motivated by Legion's new Seraphim. Seraphim treats SotR like a continuous resource, but the SotR icon does an absolutely terrible job of conveying that at a glance. I decided that a three-segmented bar made a lot more sense, and the Holy Power bar turned out to be an elegant and natural way to represent it.
It's my first WoW addon, don't hesitate to let me know if you have any feedback / bug reports / feature suggestions!

I suppose that this can also by my formal introduction to WoW GAF! I started WoW when Vanilla was a few months old (around patch 1.3, I think). After leveling a Night Elf Hunter to 4 and deleting him (ew), I decided to instead play an Undead Mage, randomed the name "Adaren", and have stuck with the Horde ever since. I tend to focus on one character at a time, and my class history is:
- Mage for Vanilla
- Ret Paladin during BC
- DK through Wrath
- Took a break, then came back for late MoP and WoD as a Monk tank
- Prot Paladin for the start of Legion, took a break of almost a year, then came back recently and picked up Disc Priest (because it's hard to re-join a raid group as a tank mid-expansion)
I've played on US Silvermoon since Vanilla. Even though most of the server's community has drifted away, I still stick with it out of loyalty. Raiding is my main focus (just started Mythic Mistress! x_x), but I spend most of my in-game time doing activities with my boyfriend, who started playing with me when I came back for MoP.
So yeah, it's nice meeting everyone! I love how positive and chill WoW GAF is, so I look forward to spending some time here.

Think you could add a cooldown tracker for hand/light of the protector as well? It's my favorite thing about protadins since it lets me off-heal very effectively in both PvE and PvP.
Switch DI and Mistress. For some reason they shuffled it around in LFR.
That was my favorite thing about playing Prot as well! Casting HotP on allies is low key OP for Mythic+.
I'll work on it this evening. Might need to find someone to help test since I don't have the Legendary helm, lol.

If your legendary drops suck, always, always bitch about it on here. Then a legendary is coming soon. I got Cold Heart (first lesser invasion point boss) on my DK, so that's nice I guess.
Yeah, I'm rarely fond of maces and usually prefer axes or swords, but they were perfect for that shaman set.
What I really want though is that huge 1h black sword that Mythic Blackhand drops, it looks so bad ass(suck it's not 2 handed though), but as it is right now, it's impossible to get because of Mythic Blast Furnace and the stupid priest's mind control requirement.
My mage has Norgannon's Foresight, Prydaz, Xavaric's Magnum Opus and Belo'vir's Final Stand. Wouldn't mind a legendary for the spec I'm actually playing. :|

I'm glad I remembered to change my loot spec to frost, since I spend most of my time in Argus as blood.
Fuuck, jealous. Legion overall is fantastic, but I'll never stop being annoyed by the legendary system.
My DK legendaries have sucked ass for months. Last one was goddamn Archerus Drapes. Now I'm down to 5 unholy legendaries though, and two of them are the Dark Arbiter shoulders and Cold Heart, so fingers crossed on my next drop.

I mean you can do this thing called group up and maybe bring a priest buddy along
Or you find someone like me that has the complete mythic attunement if you want to skip straight to Blackhand. (Its on my level 100 horde DK, NA).
Yeah, I'm able to find a group almost every week.
I didn't raid in WoD so it passed me by initially, but BRF has some of the best transmog in the entire game imo. Lots of cool weapons and some fantastic tier sets (has my favourite DK and Warlock tiers for sure).
Finally have everything I want from there for my DK since last week with the Blackhand mace, need to start going on my Warlock.

I've finished all the Legion dungeons minus Karazhan, but haven't done a single WoD dungeon yet. My transmog game is seriously slacking.

I love those sets you can get from the bunker building in your garrison. The ones that require collecting scraps to create. Stormwind set, Orgrimmar set, and so on.

What do you have to do for the mythic attunement for that one?

After the Iron Maidens there's a little back passage where you can pick up the attunement quest for an orc (it's not possible to reach before defeating them in a given lockout). It requires you to defeat the end boss of each wing and collect a quest item from them 4x (so 4 lockouts). This includes Iron Maidens (along with Blast Furnace and Kromog), so in actuality it'll take 5 weeks to complete.
You're then able to click on one of the stone pillar things adjacent to the bridge to Blackhand's lair to open the corresponding door (behind which is the mini-boss and the elevator to Blackhand himself).
The main reason I have this attunement done done despite not raiding during 6.2 is because I had to farm Mythic for a Vial of Convulsive Shadows trinket (gave on-use multistrike at the time) during 6.3 to properly play Unholy in Hellfire Citadel.

I might have to buy a virtual ticket this year sooner or later. But not for the main news panels which will have all their information disseminated anyway. It's the small programming and design panels on one of the side stages that I think will be some of the most interesting.

Shard of the Exodar (ring that lets you use time warp even if you've got exhaustion/time displacement/etc.) is the best one overall. I think the second one is generally the helm but is more flexible based on the situation.

I have the shard, 2nd legendary I got. Ive read over the frost legendaries and nome of them seem very exciting.

People here weren't kidding about there being cool mogs in WoD raids. I went ahead and did the HFC H-25 solo thing (needed mining codex anyway), and picked up a couple of nice things. Xu'tenash, Glaive of Ruin, and the Blazing Demonhilt Sword are pretty sweet looking. Also various shoulders and helmets.
Hell yeah. I almost want to go frost just so I can use the Demonhilt Sword.
HFC and BRF are definitely worth doing every week if you're into transmog imo.

Same thing happened to me on one character. But then I take another character to it and got the prompt for a bonus roll like normal.

Late to the decadent spirit creature masquerade party here but damn the Suramar zone and quests are amazing. Just got up to helping the arcwine distributor help out various people in the city and am working on getting rep to Honoured. For such a vast area the level of detail is superb.

Catch up legendary...I just read a while ago (maybe it wasn't true) that drop rates were reduced, and now they are adding those? Do they even have a plan, or are they just winging it?

I don't know enough about Hunter and DH, and I find Ret Pally to be very bland.

That entire zone is cancer. It's easier now, but at launch it was a god damn nightmare...
