I just found out crusade is the best ret talent for raiding, fuuuuuck it's like a 70k increase in damage

This is great information thanks, right now my healing make up is me as holy, another holy priest and a shaman. It's not ideal at the slightest but we are making due. But I am going to be looking back at what you have posted for ideas in the hopefully near future of switching to disc for raiding. Thanks again
We were already going for 2 drakes (3 spawns), this is 1 sister 1 wisp (2 spawns) lol.
With that comp you should be able to really shine as Disc, because HPriest and Shaman have gobs of throughput, but you can provide things neither of the other two can. Absorbs have always been huge. The thing that makes it hard is the super high APM you have to pull off and the constant target swapping. It's really helpful if you can get an enemy frame addon to keep track of your dots as well as Atonement buffs on your raid, then you can just use mouseover macros and trivialize a lot of the difficulty.
She does for the story stuff and some WQs. However, there's some WQs where her voicework is missing if I'm remembering right.

The big downside is right now the other HPriest is either just under-geared or is still learning how to use that tool box. I know his talents are wonky as I saw he had cast Circle of Healing which just baffles me. But last raid he was putting out really low numbers. Going to work with him on it tonight and if he can get the idea try next week to go as disc. I have been stockpiling the gear for it.
Addon wise I think I am good already have most of that in place. And I have mouseover macros for everything all ready.

Started leveling my Monk as windwalker and having a ton of fun with it. Seems so mobile questing and really love the feel of the rotation. It made me shelve my shaman I was leveling.

Finally got a legendary after 4 days and 12 hours @ Level 110.
Manged to get Liadrin's Fury Unleashed after beating Helya in normal Mythic, boss before dropped an 880 item for someone else so was a good run overall.
2nd best leg for Ret so I'm happy with that.

I haven't messed with alts because of the salt I know I'd feel if a legendary ended up on some profession alt before my main character.
I'd rather get a good legendary on an alt than the garbage neck I got on my Shaman.

I agree, it's by far the past feature I miss the most.
What was the reasoning for dropping it?
An extra step for people to get into raiding and it they wanted people to have a feeling of 'I g ot an upgrade so I can just equip it' instead of 'I got an upgrade but I can't equip it right now because i need to gem, enchant and reforge it'

The funny thing is that anyone that ever complained about that step were not raiders. Most raiders from that time period loved the feature and they are the ones asking for it back. Look I know Blizz regrets making LFR but hey it's there for people that just want to zerg content. Give us back some of the min/maxing stuff like reforging please
They wanted people to not have to modify their drops three different times before equipping them.
Also you pretty much just ran your gear through a script that would tell you exactly what to reforge to account for hit/expertise caps.
They really only needed to remove hit/expertise, it would have been fine then.
Pretty much. With those stats gone there's a lot more room in reforging to account for personal preference. Hit and Expertise needed to go, badly, but they didn't need to ditch dodge too.

You get a fair amount of AP from them though regardless. *shrug*
Neither of my legendaries came from the caches anyway. One was from a raid boss, the other from the weekly Mythic+ chest.

The Outlaw legendaries are like a fucking mine field. So much awkward stuff like one that MAYBE buffs your pistol damage whenever you do a stun, one that does damage based on my speed. So basically I have to cast sprint on cooldown
Like how about a legendary that gives me a guaranteed two buffs from roll the bones instead? Instead of making me use one of my defensive cooldowns for DPS?

I do a couple of mythics a week, the emissary quest each day, a full heroic and normal clear and 2 mythic bosses, daily heroic and the training mission and I've only gotten one legendary and it was the fucking shield neck. I'm sure if I ever get a second it will be the dumb ring one or many of the other useless legendaries that can drop.

What are you talking about? Didn't you hear? Roll the Bones is just fine in the eyes of Blizzard despite 99% of the Outlaw player base complaining about it.
Here, we're going to buff this talent that sucks the fun out of the class by turning it into a mindless 3 buttons spec and also replaces two of your best talent choices. Have fun!

Different topic, as an officer of a guild what is the best way to tell a 845 frost mage that they are... vastly underperforming. My raid lead doesn't have the heart to bench her, but man 70k dps on cenarius when we wipe at 9% is just sad. It was half the dmg of the tanks and no the mage didn't die early.

What do you mean regrind? As in, procure the mats to build one on another server?
If so, I'm trying to build it for the first time and it sucks. If I bought the stuff off of the AH, its like 20Kg worth of mats. :|
And then Reaves is a one time use thing.. I'm kind of regretting keeping engineering, but I want a profession that isn't just gathering and selling stuff.

Reforging was terrible. It served a place in a world with hit and expertise caps that you had to expertly work around, but it also provided absolutely zero gameplay: You had to use an addon or a website to properly reforge, trying to do it yourself in game was ALWAYS wrong. Now that those caps don't exist, you probably could figure it out yourself ...except that it would also negate the notion of actually caring about what drops, it would cause ilevel to trump everything in every case but trinkets.
As it stands now I may or may not want a piece of gear based on the stats, with reforging I'd always want every piece of gear I could wear, and I'd just have to mount up to fix it. I don't see the appeal I guess.
The run through boots (which are the best leg) are awesome, they actually change how you play at least a little bit and make it a consideration, maybe you don't want to use sprint for that, or maybe you'll have to be better at mechanic X if you can't sprint away from it, but you get more damage by doing so, etc. I think any legendary or artifact ability that doesn't change how you play is kind of a waste tbh.
Reforging feels desirable right now as a solution to "why are some secondaries so ultra awful for me" especially for necks and rings. I really wish they'd just add main stat back to jewelry because it feels awful to get an 880 with a socket and have your 855 sim higher by a good margin.

Leveled one of my champions up to 106 to finish my 5th mission for the last bit of my class hall campaign and went back to check to see if I could get 100% or close to it (since the mission is 108). Using the Garrison Mission Manager addon it tells me its at 103% so I hit start mission and switch characters. I hop back on my Warlock and I check to see what my AK timer is at... the mission is going to take 45 more hours because it used Calydus and 2 Black Harvest Acolytes. Its my fault for not looking but fucking hell, I wish I could cancel the mission.
