Everytime you get a new follower, it might "proc" and be rare or epic instead.

You get them from quest mostly. Also, you can build a tavern in you garrison to recuit one every day.

I had no idea that was the proc, I thought everyone had 5-6 epic followers (at lvl 93). When I asked my wife if she too, had a bunch of epic followers, the answer let me know that it's not normal.
 
Logged on after the rolling restart, noticed my gametime was running out at 1pm so I paid for some more confirmation email came in and the website said it was done.

1pm came round and I got a message ingame "Gametime expires in 10 minutes" relogged to update it. About 1:15pm got dc'd cause of no gametime... sigh.

Went onto the website paid for it again and there was a 6k queue to get back in.

Fuck this launch. Worst launch of a game I've ever played.
 
Got a 15 minute queue yesterday to the new server I transferred too, and it was glorious. When the game works, makes me think this is the best expansion.
 
Stupid question: Where do I turn in a quest that I had a minion do for me at the garrison? I'm tired of the icon flashing by the map. lol
 
Finally got the chance to sink about 4-5 hours in last night, goddamn I am loving it. Feels so good to be somewhere new, haven't really been interested in the game much since my hardcore raiding days in WOTLK. The new area (I'm Horde, so Frostfire) is so badass. Pandaria was beautiful and all, but it feels so cool to be somewhere huge, savage, and Warcraft-y feeling.

That said, these server issues are some goddamn bullshit, I can understand 24 hours worth of problems or a small 20 minute queue but sheesh this is a mess and a half.

Also I am undead but with all this orc stuff going on I really want to race change. Orc warrior seems to fit so much better, there's just so many orc things happening I feel kind of uninvolved as some random Forsaken dude.

Garrison is working for me in the end.
Any idea if there is an AH in Draenor? I tried googling it but all the stuff that popped up was about merging the alliance and horde AH.
 
Was really hoping that after the maintenance the EU servers would be back to normal. Been in queue for hour and a half now, about 2600 people in front of me. I'll be lucky to play at 7PM (3.5hours from now).

I have the level 2 barracks. I assigned my follower to work there (he does have the bodyguard trait) but he's not showing up. What am I missing?

edit: Derp, he's standing outside the barracks.
 
How accurate is the server status page? I am thinking about coming back to the game to try it out and it says that my server has low pop, but wondering if that is bullshit?

Maybe I should wait a week or two...
 
They must raised population again. Of course its early, I played this morning with no que at all. Hope it stays that way. Though I have to go run some errands, I'm sure I'll get a que when I get back. :/

Just finished FrostFire Ridge, holy hell at dat end quest. I hope all zones get a
mini movie.

Gotta say, in the EU it feels like the opposite
 
So is Shadowmoon Valley an Alliance only area now or does Horde get to go (and quest) there later (and vice versa for Frostfire I suppose)?
 
GAF, I've played WoW off and on since launch. While I've liked a few of the zone/city songs over the years, Warlords' soundtrack is incredible. That garrison theme is so so sosososo good.
 
Been online on Ravencrest all day. Earlier today there was no noticable change from the first 2 days. However that last few hours have been quite playable, still some delay and mob pop in, but to a much lesser degree than earlier. There is a pretty big queue for Ravencrest as well from what my friends are telling me, so it should be getting hammered pretty hard.
