Wow, that's pretty impressive. Bound to attract attention. Take note, Nintendo.

No worries Nintendo's giant DS emulates real-life graphics of how people spend their time inside a train. Kicks PSP graphics in the ass.

That was actually the real PSP at some point in the development process.
Actually, they're all still built this way at the manufacturing plant. They are then sent over to Willy Wonka's Chocalate Factory, where they zap them through Wonka-Vision to get them down to the desired size.

I wonder how many people just walk under it every day and don't even care that it's there.

Somehow, I think everyone will notice some time or another - either on the train ride to the destination or the train ride home. Ingenius marketing tool however way you put it.

Whoa, that is just crazy. Someone won't notice it? Look at how big and bright the screen is, iyou've got to be blind to not have it catch your attention. :P

It is talking about original PSP games being made in Korea and SCEK's targets of 2.5 million PS2s in Korea. They don't say the PSP will be launched there though - I guess it will if it becomes popular enough. Sony has been having a weird love affair with Korea recently. There's the obvious PS2 push there, but they're using Korean-idol Yong-sama a lot in their Japanese commercials too.

Thank you for clearing that up...

I find it odd that there are about 20 korean devlopment studios who pledged psp support, and that sony hasn't given any indication as to whether or not they'll release the psp in korea anytime soon.

Sorry, I hadn't read it all when I replied ;) They talk about PSP quite a lot in the last part. Looks like it might be released in Korea at the same time as Europe, and they're trying to develop original Korean titles for the launch. They reckon they'll sell 500,000 in a year (PS2 sold a million in a year).

may i just say for a very large screen that thing rocks.

These really big screens are improving fast. Look at the field of view. Its bright even from close to 90 degrees

It was always planned around the same time as US/Euro launch actually, at least that's what they've been telling developers for the last year or so.

When the giant UMDs it uses spin-up, does it cause small earthquakes in the train station?
