Would you buy Nintendo Switch Online for $49 a year (family plan) if it guaranteed that all preorder game prices were $59 instead of $69-$79?

Would you buy Nintendo Switch Online for $49 a year (family plan) to get these preorder prices?

I currently don't subscribe to Nintendo Online, and on average buy one Nintendo game a year.. But I can see Nintendo possibly doing something like this..
Gamepass members get a small discount on game prices, so something similar..

not a bad idea tbh.

attaching a nice 20% discount like this would definitely earn them some good will with consumers and ease the pricing pain they currently have

The only online I will be doing with Switch 2 is downloading digital games.

edit-I hope I can remap that 'C' Button to something useful.

They already do something similar with the voucher system. Two 1st party titles for $99.99 via the voucher system. Vouchers are only available for 1 year from the date of purchase.

I would. I'm thinking of getting NSO for the free expansion upgrades, BC catalogue, Nintendo music, cloud saves etc.

I know people shit on subscription services but things like PS plus premium and NSO are still way cheaper than what I pay for basic internet or cable and I get a ton of entertainment value out of it.

As someone who has no interest in reselling, the higher prices/lower discounts of Switch games really put me off them. Somehow they managed to make it even worse.

lol everyone would pay x for something if it saved them >= x on something else they were already going to buy.

Ok so wait, you want this "discount" to only apply to pre-ordering games? So when they actually release, you still pay the full price with a sub?
