I had a decently long lasting fling with a girl who ended up moving to Chicago and selling herself through some weird sugar daddy site for extra money. With that said, I don't see porn stars being in the same league there. Theres all types, but at least there are far more safety measures and regulations which take place there.

The way I see it is that either way you are going to pay for it.(Taking her out to dinner, movie tickets, emotional support, etc) I'm not actively looking for a relationship at the moment(though that can change in the future) but I still have the urge every now and then and want to spend that time with someone that's experienced at her craft and no strings attached to it.
If I wanted a relationship of course I would take that to Tinder, but I just want to have fun and I don't see anything to be ashamed about unless you are insecure.

You use the "I'm not insecure about it" defense quite a bit here when people rip on you for things. Sounds to me like another defense mechanism thing. I won't pry too much, and maybe you are telling the truth, but I think as you progress into your later twenties and thirties, you're going to start seeing a lot of your peers progress in life in more traditional ways while you're stuck in your childhood bedroom and paying for sex. It's really not a good look, and I say that out of honesty more than trying to get a rise here.

It's a fact, in most cases women are not going to be jumping on your dick as you get into your late 20's just because you are "Nice". Paying to see an escort is guaranteed, less time consuming, way cheaper than dating and it's honest. "I wanna fuck" "I want cash" ok deal.
A date will often cost you more and you've not got guaranteed sex at the end of it. As a film school kinda dude, I've always had "funny and creative" going for me. I enjoy going on dates a lot to be honest, and really don't mind buying a meal or a coffee for someone. If she's not into you after that, then there really isn't much else to say.
Maybe I'm too idealistic, but I don't go around bars for hookups. Never have. Used to get laid a lot just through Facebook back before I deleted mine. My statuses there were always just saying shit to make the hot chicks on my friends list laugh and it worked.

You can still go on dates, look for relationships, be funny whatever and pay for sex when you want it. These things are not mutually exclusive the narrative of you "Have to pay for it" just isn't true for the vast majority of punters who are in their 30's and have disposable income and are just "too old for this shit" chasing women around. But would happily take up a relationship if one occurred naturally.
Heres the secret, when your not giving off desperation vibes of "I gotta get laid and this is my only chance" that women pickup on you actually get laid more.
