Would you date someone with the same name as your Sister/Brother/etc?

I kinda of like this girl, but there is just one problem, same name as one of my sisters. It's kinda of creepy. I have tried calling her nick-names but that is just not working out too well. What would you do? Forget her? Anyone been in this situation?

Wouldn't bother me unless they shared the same obscure nickname.

"Oh, love dumpling... sis, is that you?"

LeBron loves his girlfriend. There is no other woman in the world he’d rather have. The problem is, Dwyane’s not a woman.
Unless you start screaming the chicks name out during sex,I dont see the big deal.

I don't think so. I hit it off with a girl named Chelsea, my cousin's name, and I didn't feel like Olimario. You just have to not have a perverted state of mind. Well, at least not around the girl. Whatever you do in private is your own business.

:lol and yeah, I wouldn't let a name bother you. Especially if she's hot. No reason to bail out. Now if you find she looks a lot like someone from your family and you just notice that a little into a relationship, then you bail out.

Sure, in fact I already have. No biggie.

Bonus question for Gayming-Agers and people called Chris, would you date someone with the same name as yourself?

Yeah, I would, but if she had the name Brian, that crosses the line

Of course. I dated a girl with the same name as my mom and it had no effect on anything. A name is a name, nothing else.

"People say all kinds of crazy shit during sex. One time I called this girl 'mom'!"

If you like her, get over it and date her.
If you really mis out on a good girl because of her name, you're very shallow.

Yes. I mean it all depends on how much you like them, but currently my relationship situation is extra weird.

I am dating a girl with the same name as my sister, she is the same age as my sister, she was born just 3 days before my sister, goes to the same school as my sister and her and my sister are roommates.

both my sisters have pretty unique names so i don't think there's any chance of me even meeting another person with the same names.

I have the same name as my wife's brother. Everything's fine as long as I'm "Nathan" and her brother is "Nate." If someone calls me "Nate" she starts muttering, "He's not my brother.. he's not my brother.. he's not my brother.."

Too weird for me. With the same name as my cousin, it might be tolerable.... as long as they dont look similar, where it might serve as a reminder.

My name is Chris, and I don't think I'd have a problem with it, though it's never happened. It'd be pretty odd at first, but I think I'd get over it. I briefly dated a girl with the same name as my sister (Kristen; yeah, yeah, Chris/Kristen-- yuck it up, guys :D), and it was no biggie.

You guys have some serious hangups. ;) :p

i wouldn't have a problem if she had a guy's name, but if she has a penis... DEALBREAKER.

:lol

Not groundbreakingly original humor, but for some reason the word "dealbreaker" did it for me. :p
