Yea, the Corruption/Immolate/Curse combo can be pretty potent when some foe is ganking on your VW and you sit back and stuff Shadow Bolts in their unassuming backside. It's all we really have to offer in combat, which is generally enough. (I only mention my stave because it is pretty uber and can dish out almost as much dmg as a single rank-5 shadow bolt)
I agree completely that the class seems more versed towards a group dynamic, especially with all of the peripherary skills we get to buy like Underwater breathing, Eye of Killrogg, Lesser detection, and the almighty Summon. The pets are pretty well devised, but it takes several levels beyond recieving them to really understand their potential(felhunter is so vanilla right now for me)
I'm not as bothered with the class as Alex seems to be, though I seem to not spend NEARLY the same amount of time concerned or focused on my stat sheet/talents as he does. It is starting to get a bit irritating in the lategame when suddenly my DOT spells are constantly repelled or suffer immunity against my foes, which is happening a LOT right now. Understandable, but there isn't much for us warlocks to fall back on when soloing. I'd really like to have a cripple spell or two amidst the poisoning stuff.
