Good, that's when I got up to stretch yawn and use the restroom last year.
7 matches with 1 performance...for a 4 hour show. Like 2 of the matches on Mania will be pretty crappy after the first 15 minutes.
There are probably going to be a ton of skits and or talking segments it seems.
Basically the card has 7 matches like last year. Of those 7, four went over 20 minutes, one went 13, one went 7 and one went 3 minutes. This included the long opening segment with Hogan, Rock and Austin.
So matches will get time and truthfully do Sting and Taker need matches that are over 20 minutes?
Including their mandatory naptime? Yes.
I'm hoping Stinger/HHH is longer than most are assuming. Sting looks to be in the best shape he's been in years. HHH worked an amazing match last year. Could surprise a lot of people quality wise.
I don't think booking a long match with Taker would be smart. Keep it 20 min or under to minimize the chances of him blowing up in the ring or suffering an injury. I love the epic Taker matches we've gotten over the past decade, but his body isn't there anymore.
To be fair, Undertaker takes 10 minutes to waddle to the ring.
As someone else noted, I expect a lot of musical numbers, advertisements, comedy skits, and pre-match promotionals.
Sounds like I'm getting pretty drunk during Mania this year.
There is only 1 musical performance this year.

announced on the network. So from 6 to 7 will have two preshow matches. The main card is the 7 matches and 1 musical performance. Not sure what LL cool J is doing though.
No one wants to see Bull Dempsey in a singlet either.
That's mental. I was looking forward to that match (for Miz/Mizdow and Axelmania awesomeness) but my wifi is too shit for a Network subscription. Fuck you Vince.

Last year was one of the best WrestleManias in history.
The lead up to the show this year has been painfully unexciting for the most part. Compared to last year it has the potential to be very disappointing.
I have set my expectations accordingly.

I gave up on WWE over the course of this year if that is anything to go by.
Lesnar/Reigns will not be interesting if it is a straight wrestling match. It needs a swerve of some kind.
I really think the same goes for Taker/Bray and Cena/Rusev and Sting/NHH. They need to be overbooked to hell and back with nonsense to cover up flaws.
Diva Match seems throwaway. This is disappointing, as the NXT Divas are at times out performing male wrestlers.
Rollins/Orton and the Ladder Match is what I have faith in, and should be good. Everything else could be good if they do interesting way. I don't think the wrestling quality of the show will be great this year, but there could be some good individual moments worth seeing.
Make sure you at least watch RAW on Monday - as it has a huge chance at topping the quality of Mania this year
Any "swerve" is going to involve The Rock and be as predictable as hell.

Fan reaction is the strongest all year on that RAW. It's mostly people that were at WrestleMania the night before and lots of rabid international fans. All of them dying to let Vince and those watching know how they felt about the show. They put their favorites over like none other, and eat guys like Roman Reigns alive. It's more intense when it's after a WrestleMania that's disappointing.
If Reigns wins though, you can pretty much bet they'll just not have him appear on Monday.
Oh, I know how awesome Raw after Mania can be. I just can't work out what they can do to salvage the train wreck that this year's show is bound to be.
That RAW after Mania is amazing mostly because of the fans, and because WWE does seem to cater to that smart international crowd and do throw them a couple bones. But they quickly give that up the next week when they're back to regular crowds.

This would actually be a very good twist and make fun storylines.
Too bad Cena buried Bray last year at Mania and now Bray can't even start a future undefeated streak for himself
