We, they're paying to be entertained. Pushing someone who isn't ready isn't entertaining. Change your script, work with what the crowd is giving you, "they" acted like it was below them until they figured out how to give us what we wanted at the very end.

It's your idea that it was "planned all along". Like they planned Reigns to be despised and rejected from the Rumble on.
If fans hadn't completely turned on Reigns, there would be no question that he was winning clean at WM, and walking out champion.

That Rock segment was awful. Total waste of time that could have been finished in less than half the time it took. Wasn't entertaining in the least.

I said it before, but he may catch a break with the fans now since he didn't beat Brock for the belt. He was actually over before they strapped the rocket to his back. Fans just got pissed that he was getting a main event push so hard and so quickly.
