UT started strong but he was really gassed or concussed again the last five minutes. If you can't work one match without something happening its probably time to stop.

He is a hybrid. He was a Lesnar gassed. If he wasn't stalling for his dead opponent, it could have been great.

I need to lie down brehs.

Why does Taker need to retire? He looked great. Wyatt is a fucking cancer.

He basically blew the biggest break that nobody ever gets related to his status.

It's not like I was impressed with Wyatt either in that match...but like I said, I just didn't care about this match. I didn't care about it when the program started, and I didn't care once it got going either. Neither man made me care about it.

Did j and j come out? I was marking way too hard to tell

As far as I know they're both married with children - however that isn't a definitive indictment of their sexuality, which I honestly don't care which way they swing. It's not my business.

To be fair he was hurt, and his booking was always gonna make him look bad. Nothing can explain that bizarre suicide move though.

The way Vince talked I thought he was maybe going somewhere with Bray but...

thoughts:

that ladder match was the worst thing on the card by a long shot, not counting the divas match

I could not handle trips/stang I thought I was gonna lose myself it was so fucking funny

seeing brock lesnar commit murder live is really something special

everyone leaving the arena was happy

Now that Seth is champ. I'd really want WWE to set up a 6 man hell in a cell match. Seth Rollins v Roman Reigns v Brock Lesnar v Dean Ambrose v Daniel Bryan v Orton. All men involved would have legitimate reasoning for going after Seth and the belt.

Roman and Brock - Losing tonight at mania
Ambrose - Still has unfinished business with Rollins
Bryan - Never lost his belt
Orton - Can claim he beat the champ the night he won.

I wish this could happen...Though I know it wont.

If you listen during the main event, you can hear Brock telling Roman to straight up potato him.

I didn't hear him, will have to go back and listen. I'm not shocked though, that match looked brutal and super stiff from both guys. They really made it look devastating.

Stolen from another board, but dead on

Here's the thing. Rollins and Reigns have been singles competitors for the same amount of time on the WWE main roster (let's ignore the indy stuff for the time being) BUT Rollins' rise to this spot has included all of the stuff that we were criticizing Reigns' rapid push for NOT having:

* He was immediately put into a stable, the Authority, most of whose members could talk for him while he improved on the mic AND was paired with veterans like HHH, Kane, Show and Orton (briefly) who conferred credibility on him.

* Immediately began a sensible midcard feud with someone on his same level; Dean Ambrose.

* Won the MITB ladder match (basically a midcard title) very quickly, but did it with help. (Kane) He carried that "title" around until he earned legitimate main event credibility.

* Won the feud with Ambrose.

* Sent off Randy Orton to show his vicious nature and that he could "hang" with main-event level talent.

* Competed in a higher-level feud at Survivor Series but ended up losing it.

* Had a mini-feud on the mic with John Cena and, again, got over but showed that he needed help to do it. Thus he is gaining cred for "going over" (in storyline if not in matches) higher-level talent without A. unbelievably doing it on his own and B. cementing himself as a great heel who relies on cheating and the help of his stable members to beat faces.

* Got his victories back over the man who beat him at Survivor Series: Dolph Ziggler.

* Weaseled his way into a WWE Title match at Royal Rumble (undeservedly; preserving heel cred), put on a good showing including injuring Brock Lesnar (to show that he was at least close to main event status) but actually lost the match, and took the pin doing it.

* Took a cheap win over Roman Reigns on the Road to WM.

All of these are the incremental steps needed to credibly build a main-eventer who is ready for the belt. Seth Rollins checked off all the boxes, and thus was a suitable "in case of emergency, break glass" solution tonight.

So, when do we all want to admit that Rollins has actually been the chosen one the entire time; and Reigns was a red herring? Because looking back, anyone who didn't read the dirtsheets and immediately believe them would have thought Rollins was the chosen one (especially when you think they had Rollins with Jon Stewart, and not Reigns...or that Rollins was being protected through feuds and having feuds with good opponents unlike Reigns).

Was at a WM party with friends, and his mother (who watched in the attitude era but picked it up again recently) was confused as to why they thought Roman Reigns was the chosen one; she's thought Rollins was the chosen one.
