With his heel run Rollins has surpassed Ambrose on the mic.

Better in the ring, better on the mic and a better look, he's a better option than Ambrose as champion. I love Ambrose but Seth was the right choice.

There is a reason Rollins vs Orton was the feud that headlined Raw for a lot of the build to Mania, and it wasn't Orton.

Ambrose is far more over, has better sales as far as I am aware.
But in the eyes of those that matter, he is less marketable.
If that is your reason, so be it.
If not, you are wrong.

I thought this show was pretty great. It's going to stand the test of time far better than the last several Manias. The build up for pretty much every match was absolutely awful, but the result was far better than I expected. I know a lot of people are criticizing how goofy it was at times, but I personally loved it. The main event scene is more exciting than ever, there are so many options they have with Rollins as champ.

All in all this was a mediocre Wrestlemania with no classic matches significantly helped by some of the lowest expectations and poorest build going in.

Not a Photoshoop master, but feel this was appropriate.

Thos WM will go with 15 and 18 in my mind as one that makes up for it's lack of 5 star matches by just being really, really fin. 31 was captivating and exciting and surprising and everything wrestling should be. Its amazing how many fans are revealing what marks they are by basically saying "i will never be happy unless all the guys i like win" (HHH, Cena). That's kid's shit. You know how people have complained "Wm22-29 all run together for me?" Those days are over. I will d efinently, clearly remember Wrestlemania 31. Good shit.

He kicked out of 3 F5s (which is what beat Undertaker last year), I'd say that alone made him look pretty damn strong (also fuck this company)

Weirdest thing to happen to me over the course of last night was LL Cool J following me on twitter. I cracked a joke about how he should have played Undertaker to the ring with Phenomenon. Dude only follows about 850 people, so that makes it extra bizarre. My face is sitting there next to Vince, Steph and Ice T.

Brock Lensar with momma said knock you out. Oh the geeky potential.

Sting vs. HHH took a complete unexpected swerve, and it was awesome! Loved seeing DX and nWo with the run-ins. Sucks that HHH won as a final 'fuck you' to WCW though.

It would have been truly representative of the era if the match was somehow ended as no-contest since I remember so many matches back then doing that.

Or they could have swallowed their pride and just put Sting over. We didn't need a "winner". Getting this match was already a big win.

Either way, HHH and the WWE 'braintrust' look like self-important goofs here, though it's no different than it's been for a while. It's why I quit watching 12 or so years ago and why they couldn't keep me going when I was watching casually 1.5 to 2 years ago. The way they run the product won't change, so one Wrestlemania viewing at a party is all the wrasslin' I really want each year.

so who was watching the Brock Lesnar match and thought... i wish it were Daniel Bryan? lol he would have been destroyed and its a good thing the WWE isn't giving that match a chance.

Exactly. I really don't know what crack these people were thinking when they chant and wish for that. It's madness. Right now, Daniel with the IC belt is the BEST thing that could happen for that belt for he will make it highly credible again, just like how Brock made the WWE Heavyweight belt insane credible.

BTW - Don't everyone just feel like punch Jerry in the mouth everytime he tries to bad mouth and express negativity against Paul Heyman? Give Paul credit where it's due!

Bryan would be crippled and retired unless they completely neutered Brock.
The powers that be in the WWE were very smart keeping Bryan away for now and letting him mend more and letting him gradually work his way up to harder bumps (the ladder match was rough but nowhere near Lesner.)

Back-to-back Rumble Winner Losses at Mania, a first? EDIT: Nope, Cena then Orton then Edge then Del Rio. They need to drop the Royal Rumble PPV, without kayfabe/suspension of belief it doesn't work anymore.

This wrestling, he wouldn't have been destroyed.

How many of those suplexes onto his neck do you think that he could handle with the impact that they have?
It is wrestling, yes it is "fake" but Brock hits you like a car wreck or you do not get a good Brock match.
Maybe he could clap his hands and kick Brock when Reigns full impact did not phase Brock early on? Bryan would have been suplexed into row 7.

They didn't do Brock vs dainel because they are protecting Bryan neck. Cena, a man who has neck and back problem throughout his career took 16 so I doubt they care that, hell they had hhh vertical suplex a 56 old man.

What? The Rumble is easily their second biggest night.

Having them occasionally lose is a good thing because it stops people from assuming the result of the Mania main event.

Rollins is one of the best workers in the company right now. So glad he's got the strap. Hopefully he holds it for awhile. Tonight's RAW is going to be insane, when it comes to the pop he's going to get.

So...wait, Rollins was in San Fran last night, he's in NYC now, and he has to fly back out right after to the West Coast?! Holy shit.

Probably flew out right after the show to get to NYC. Will probably fly right back out after lol. Wonder if they'll put him in any real matches tonight.

There's a whole hell of a lot more to being WWE Champion than being a good wrestler, and there's even more than being a good wrestler and a talker. "Face of a company" was fun for storyline, but it's also An Actual Thing.

Crossfit is more tiresome to him than those plane rides and matches put together lol

Lol at everyone being upset that Big Show won some meaningless jobber battle royal. It's not like it would have elevated anybody anyways.

My only big issue with Mania last night is that Sting should have won. But WWE gonna WWE and be petty over WCW in 2015. What a kick in the balls to every Sting fan and the payoff was horrible. If Stone Cold came out instead of the Rock all would be forgiven though.

Would have been cool if they kept the strap on Brock for the year, but Rollins getting the title like that is much better than a "Lol Roman wins"
