Say what you want about Trips but he made Daniel Bryan look like an absolute star last night. Loses to him clean in the best match of the night and then let himself get made a fool of again in the main event.
Trips involvement, and the way he put Bryan over, made the entire night far more special for Bryan than if he had just beaten Batista and Orton.

Triple H saved that entire main event. It was pretty dull until he came out and got into it with Bryan. It brought the crowd to life big time.
You know what would be awesome? Tonight on Raw, Lesner comes out at the beginning to brag aboit beating Undertaker. Im the beast, yada yada. Cue HHH, who points out he still has many to beat before he can be considered a legend. HHH walks out, nothing else. End of the show, Lesner comes out again to rant amd rave about wanting a title shot. Lights go out. Lights come back, old man Sting is behind him, baseball bat in hand. Lesner beats a hastey retreat, only to run into another Sting (an bat) as he tries to vacate. Sting grabs a mic, says 'Lets have some fun!', beginning a month of Sting playing severe mind games with Brock leading up to a finale at a PPV.
The Orton one was terrible and I like Orton.

Alvarez is reporting that Taker has been telling people since 2010 that the only person he wanted to break the streak was Lesnar. Taker has such a boner for MMA that he wanted Lesnar to do it since he was a former UFC Champion and all that stuff.
Supposedly now people are watching this old clip of Taker asking Lesnar "You wanna do it?" to be an offer to let him beat the streak.

I hope you understand that it is his character and his big over the top entrance made more sense this year than any other. The whole angle with him has been that his ego is out of control since he became COO and in the last month or so, he's gone so far off the deep end that it makes Vince look rational. It's been all about playing up the internet fans perceptions of him and he's been so awesome at it.
I watched the Diva thing and I didn't see anything giffable. I have no idea what Eva thing you're talking about.
Makes sense. Guess he's not retiring just yet then.

The saddest part of Taker losing was his slow stagger down the thousand mile ramp into the abyss. There was nothing grandiose or special about it. He was Willie Mays stumbling out of the batters box.
I knew AJ was going to win when she strutted down to the ring. She was loving the fact she got a WM entrance, and the others didn't.

AJ is the only female wrestler currently on the roster that deserves to hold the belt. I really hope they end up debuting Paige tonight or sometime soon to provide AJ a good opponent to drop the title to.

I can't believe The Iron Sheik went out there just to shove his 3-0 undefeated streak in his face.
The rosters are merged. There was still this weird limbo where the WHC belt was technically still the Smackdown belt until they merged them, John Cena had a weird promo on Smackdown in like October where he was talking about how he was going to represent Smackdown now but that may just be because he missed the roster merge. The IC and US belts are held by guys who debuted after the programs merged so I guess there's nothing left for those belts, not that they mean anything.

They came back when Randy Orton killed himself and Daniel Bryan went all Mankind with the stretcher job. They were dead for that divas match though and didn't give a shit about the main event when it was Randy vs. Batista because why would you.
EDIT: NEW PAIGE
They're still going nuts from when Triple H shows up to the end though. No doubt the Taker thing hurt the noise but it certainly wasn't dead in the latter portion of the main event.
