Don't believe everything you see on dirt sheets. That was clearly bullshit.
Nah, he's just not that good. He can't talk. He can bounce around, but he does the exact same spots in nearly every match, so it comes off so fake. I couldn't tell you what his actual offensive moveset is. He definitely puts his heart into it, though.
Ahh OK. I didn't watch.
Man what is this mark talk? Never said Reigns was any good either. Can't talk...
Does the exact same spots in nearly every match...
Are we talking about Roman Reigns? No, we can't be, because he's yet to have as good a singles match as Ziggler had with the fucking Miz on Raw
Linda conceding her failed Senate race.
For once, we agree. He's very good at making his opponent look good.Nah, he's just not that good. He can't talk. I'm saying RVD comes out to silence in ECW, at least on the network. Fans mostly chanted along with the song when he came out. But now that the song's removed, the fans singing is also removed. So it looks like no one cared about him.
It would be a bad thing if anyone ever experienced ECW this way.
Can anyone tell me if the fans are muted in every theme song switch, or is it just when the fans were singing along? Do you hear any the crowd in a New Jack match?
.The final issue of WWE Magazine will be the October issue, which hits newsstands on September 16th. The magazine could possible continue with an outside publisher but WWE itself will no longer be producing it.
I'm canceling my sub too. I got the service through Summerslam. I'm probably going to drop it until the Royal Rumble comes up.

I got your back, Vince.

We noted earlier today that WWE is planning a 7% decrease in staff as part of the ongoing budget cuts. According to The Wrestling Observer, reportedly around 55 people were let go from WWE headquarters today.
Vince McMahon has ordered more budget cuts in 2014, with the attempts to lower the blow of the $45-$53 million dollar loss this year. Some of the cuts could include several wrestlers changing their first-class travel to coach. There is also talk of scaling back catering at WWE events, not necessarily eliminating it completely.
Today's purge of almost a dozen expendable WWE performers (including Brodus Clay, Evan Bourne, Teddy Long, Drew McIntyre, Jinder Mahal, Aksana and JTG) caught everyone by surprise, even though the writing should have been on the wall that major cuts were imminent.
After many years of relative prosperity where WWE could afford to carry a bit of deadwood in their ranks, their wrestlers had been lulled into a false sense of security. Releases only occurred when contracts expired or sackable offenses were committed. As long as you played by the rules, your job was safe. Until today.
Unfortunately such niceties can't continue in a company projected to lose a whopping $45-52 million this annum and whose cash-in-hand is rapidly running out to fund such heavy red ink. This is clearly a time where any excessive or unnecessary spending by WWE had to be ruthlessly eliminated regardless of the lives ruined in the process.
WWE announced a huge networking deal with Rogers today that will see the WWE Network come to Canada, in conjunction with their shareholders meeting which announced the Network coming to dozens of international countries this August.
In a major update for potential subscribers, the internet-based version of the WWE Network the complete version the U.S. has had since February is expected to be rolled out at some point in 2015. What Canadians will be getting is closer to what people thought the WWE Network was going to be many years ago; a premium television station. Rogers will be broadcasting the live feed on their network including monthly PPV events and viewers will have limited access to on-demand content.
Wait, does that mean you can only get WWE Network through Rogers Cable in Canada? What's the point of that??
Wait, does that mean you can only get WWE Network through Rogers Cable in Canada? What's the point of that??
The point is Vince get's more money?
Without the on demand back catalogue material its pretty much useless. It will likely be a major dud for Rogers since most big WWE fans in Canada have figured out the work arounds to get the Network.
Vince gets a nice big lump sum payment that he would not have gotten if he had just launched the online version up here.
To be fair, they have expanded to brainlessly pushing two guys
Pulling the magazine is quite surprising. It gets good distribution in the uk and is something kids have been seeing in newsagents and supermarkets for over 25 years. One of the most visible things in the entire brand here, since all their programming is on subscription channels.
Doesn't WWE.com fulfil everything the magazine does but quicker and for free?
Oh I understand why Vince would do it. I just don't understand why any Canadian fan would subscribe to this channel given that it is automatically inferior to the US version.
Canadian fans won't. Rogers were really dumb here since Canadian fans already have gotten access to the US version and simply won't be compelled to switch over.
--It is not a good day at WWE HQ in Stamford as 7% of the work force (roughly 55 people) were let go.
--Largely due to cost cutting and lowering overhead, WWE stock rose 39 cents per share to $12.48 on four times the usual volume on a day where the market overall was down.
--Regarding Canada and the Rogers deal, an update from our audio is that there will be no Internet component of the WWE network in Canada at first. It will be strictly a television station distributed by Rogers. It will be available through Rogers cable. Other cable providers in Canada will have it offered and will have to go through Rogers for the fights. The live stream will air the same as everywhere else. There will be a video-on-demand component but it have less content that the streaming network library. Exactly what will be available is not known yet. The plan is to introduce the network on the Internet at some point in 2015.
http://www.f4wonline.com/more/more-...-event-tna-signging-major-tna-tv-show-tonight--Something to look out for is how SummerSlam is promoted on Monday, if it's promoted as both a PPV and network event or just the network event being hyped. WWE did say today that they expect the PPV business go to away in 2015, so that would indicate not moving big shows off the network and back to PPV.
Some potential good news for Canadians..

Good news? Its the worst fucking news ever. Guarantees I'm not giving a cent to WWE for the network in the next 10 years.
You folks are getting royally screwed.
Just get unblock-us and don't bother with your canadian tv shit deal.
Money. Pretty sure the actual quote was "The deal was too good to turn down". Presumably they don't particularly care about the fans as long as they get paid. How can this Canadian deal even be spinned? They're delivering a totally dated and objectively much worse product for no real fucking reason.

http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Wrestling/2014/08/13/21871016.htmlThe WWE Network has launched in Canada, but the stripped down bare bones version has many loyal fans crying foul.
Available at launch are a handful of SummerSlam pay-per-views, the Great American Bash from 1989, three WCW Bash at the Beach shows, two ECW Heatwave pay-per-views and the One Night Stand show from 2005.
The content is not labeled by name, just meaningless numbers, titles and there are missing logos and images.
All told, the content on the Canadian version of the WWE Network amounts to approximately 39 hours of content, a drop in the bucket compared to the enormous library available on the online version which has each and every WCW, ECW and WWE pay-per-view available, most episodes of WCW’s Clash of Champions, Saturday Night’s Main Event, ECW Hardcore TV, the original Legends’ House and Total Divas reality shows, an archive of old school WWE house show cards and a multitude of specials, past DVD releases which have been transferred to digital media and much more.
Many Canadian fans are expressing their disappointment online.
“This sucks, it sucks so bad. How could you defend this,” posted user “teambates” on Wreddit.
“Well, it looks like the first day of the WWE Network in Canada went over like a lead balloon. Good work, guys,” wrote user Al Creed on Twitter.
Canadian wrestling superstar Lance Storm took to Twitter to voice his dismay.
“Did some research just less that 20% of Canada uses Rogers, so 80+% still can't get @wwenetwork It's also a partial version for $11.99 :-(,” he wrote.
“Also, it seems the only archive we'll get is Max Moon and Bastion Booger matches,” joked Marc Poitras in reply.
One popular Internet unblocking service took advantage of the discontent to entice Canadians by stating, ”Watch SummerSlam on WWE Network no matter where in the world you are (even Canada).”
This is all the Canadian version is getting at the moment:
-SummerSlam 1992
-SummerSlam 1998
-SummerSlam 2000
-SummerSlam 2002
-SummerSlam 2005
-Great American Bash 1989
-Bash at the Beach 1994
-Bash at the Beach 1996
-Bash at the Beach 1998
-ECW Heatwave 1998
-ECW Heatwave 1999
-ECW One Night Stand 2005
