The Rumble is going to be the first time a lot of people see Cesaro isn't it? Hopefully he gets the time in the ring to put on a good show. I want to see him deadlift someone and throw them out.

His promos were terrible this past year except for the touting part with Ziggler or the backstage segment with Bryan, but man he did have some good matches this year.

I only liked the matches vs Punk at that PPV and his final one against Ziggler,I think they were trying to go with his promos in a particular direction with the whole 'silent troll' thing but then swerve?

A bit early for this thread i'd say but not that it really matters, I won the GAF rumble drawing last year and i'm going to make Wrasslegaf history and become the first user to win back to back rumble draws, my victory prize is knowing that for once luck is on my side even if I technically win bugger all and to win this year i'd have to draw Cena.

Really though i'm rooting for the Barrett Barrage, all aboard the Wade Barrett hype train!

So the dude who won the rumble last year went to WM and had the squash match to open the show, right? Why would anyone place any value on this years winner then?

His comeback stunk because they just brought him back to lose nearly every single match. He should have won something against CM Punk at a PPV but they didn't do that for some reason. His stuff with Ziggler was great, but was only for a short while.
 
Rumble surprises are nothing special anymore given the fact that any good surprise would be are guys that are 45-50 years old now. Nostalgia can only be good for such a little time frame in pro wrestling.

I'd say it has to do more with a lack of competition.

If someone like Samoa Joe, Roode, PAC, Hero, Generico, Aries, etc. made their debut, they may be solid workers but no one really knows who they are. You'd get a mild pop at best.

I have faith that Generico could get himself over within five minutes of a Royal Rumble debut.

Probably not in Arizona though.
