So the UR pair I get now is Miz. Bleh.
Should I bother leveling up my Reigns and Miz pairs or keep grinding KOTR for better cards? The only URs I bothered to max pro are Cena and Flair.

Just downloaded the update on ios and all that's changed is the ladder in exhibition that says I have to play 9999999 games to get a power booster for KOTR

I've played enough games to get a pair of SR Paiges at least. I can move up from Rare Eva Marie! I can technically go for Epic KOTR if I max pro Reigns and Miz.
But would a deck of max pro UR Cena, Flair, Miz, Reigns and then a max pro SR Paige be competitive at Epic if I do the commons bench? Gonna take me a while to level them all up though, so I'll keep doing UR KOTR in the mean time.

The lower third of Epic KotR will be mostly people with non pro epic and non pro legendary cards. I would say go for it.
I did notice that there is a new Brock Lesnar listing in the legendary card catalog.
Agreed but the amount of games required to play is kinda overboard. For example at about 7-10k games you should already have pro legendaries. Seems like more of a collector thing at these landmarks.
I agree that 40k games just to get legendary John Cena is stupid. I should have been more specific when I was talking about needing just 200 games to get a set of rare Paige cards.

Looks like the ladder reward Cena cards have slightly different stats to the standard Cena cards comparing the base stats. Looking at the UR cards, it looks like the new ones have slightly higher power and charisma, but lower toughness and speed. So I guess the regular cards will be more well rounded then?

im 600 games in & 1/3 into super rare ++. only gotten 4 SR's so far
how big of a difference does it make when you train using R, SR ,etc vs using C & UC? when you train one of your main cards should you stock pile a bunch of good cards for it?

This People's Champ event. Will it take place only once?
A single Legendary is useless, even in the new form that is introduced. I'm not going to grind for 48 hours competing with bots and whatnot.
I don't think this patch is really going to excite me again. If you look at the hours you need to put in to get the top Ladder rewards... nah.

I still play constantly. I feel like I'm always the last one to give up on these fads. Even though I get the feeling 90% of players will choose Cena, I can't side with him in good conscience. I'm choosing Lesnar when the event starts. Oh and I ended up finishing first in the qualifying rounds somehow... and then get matched up with one of the 3 people that beat me in the first round. Go figure.
Edit: and now I lost match 1 just because the computer is completely idiotic. It used my pro epic taker instead of my pro legendary Jericho with speed as the qualifier. How insanely stupid. I'm really pissed off about it.

So I just got to the Legendary tier thanks to my Epic Pro Ric Flair (woo!). And guess who I got for my free pick? Ry-fucking-back. Ugh. The single worst male Legendary card. I'd rather have received a support card. Oh well!

You can still force-quit the app and restart to stock up on picks. Takes longer, but still possible.

Yeah I am unbelievably pissed right now. INSANELY pissed. I couldn't have had worse luck here. Once again, the computer was extremely stupid and chose the wrong ones for me AND I didn't get to face his terrible tag team so I lost in the first round for the first time ever. This is almost enough to make me want to quit entirely. There was literally nothing I could do better.
Edit: And to make things even worse, I had full boosts, while he had none, so if it had just picked the RIGHT cards for THE FIRST TIME IN THREE GAMES, I would have won easily.
Second edit: And if I'd just won ONE round, this wouldn't have been a waste. Now the only way I'll get any better is if I manage to draw a diva card and even then it's a minor upgrade unless I happen to draw brie again. It's just so very very frustrating. How can the computer be this inept?
Third edit: Plus the odds were just so against him winning that it's insane. If I'd gotten the right matchup (seemingly 50/50) in my singles matches OR if there had been no diva matchup in either game 1 or 3, I would have won. That's like a 1/16 chance of him winning there I think. So I had to have the computer act really stupid OR be extremely unlucky AND I had to be facing the one guy who could knock me out in the first round. I just can't believe it.
Fourth edit: So do I have to wait like 6 more hours for this to be over before I can even get my reward and start a new one?

Ok can somebody explain to me how the People's Champion challenge works? I read the rules but I'm still not clear on how it works.
Once I pick a wrestler to play for (I'm gonna pick Brock Lesnar), do I then need to have team Lesnar win the whole event in order for me to get the prizes?

It doesn't matter who you choose; whoever wins, you'll get the rewards for that wrestler (i.e., if Brock wins, you'll get Brock cards and vice versa).
And I don't think your tier matters because they give you three options (easy, medium, hard) based on your current tier, so you can technically have an easy time if you stick to the lower tiers (you just won't get as much points). But if you spend money and buy a lot of boosts, you can shoot to the top.
Honestly, I just want to reach the tier that gives a pair of Epic cards. Anything higher than that doesn't seem worth the effort, especially the reward tiers that just give you one Legendary card. That's pretty much useless unless you get a pair.

I actually have a maxed out legendary brock lesner so I would like to get a second copy to pro him. Unfortunately I can't imagine cena losing and a cena legendary would be useless to me.
Ah I see. For some reason the easy, medium and hard part wasn't clear in the rules...
Also wait a min, spend money on boosts? What kind of boosts are we talking? Am I going to have to use stamina cards in this event or something? XD

After you win a match in this mode, you get picks just like Exhibition mode. But instead of finding Energy, you get these title match boosts that double the amount of points you get after winning a match (ex: normal hard match may net you 5 points, but with the boost, you'll get 10).
So, basically, if you buy a ton of boosts, you can inflate your score pretty damn high despite playing fewer matches than most.

I don't really bank on pulling a Legendary from Exhibition so I could keep on farming SR. At the same time it takes fun away if there is not even the option of finding one.

Auto play?yeah, that's why i said people who usually run autoplayer will get 100 cards less then their usual 400-500 cards a night.
for me, it's making each game last longer, i'll just play normally and suck it up.
Nah you get nothing, once I found out, I stopped bothering. A Collectible Card Game that does not reward you for collecting cards, lol.
It's also pretty much made so that you have to ditch your favorite cards eventually, theres no room to save any. Would have been nice if you could put cards in your Catalog and use them later.
But whatever. I applaud anyone that can endure this game for 50k games.

If that is the case then I definitely won't bother. Nothing interest me about a non-Pro Legendary that I need to spend 20 hours for to obtain.

salute got the same card when i hit epic and she is no doubt a stud.Finally reached Epic tear. And this is the epic card I got.
I'm pretty happy with that.
Update is cool but y'all are right about the reward system, even by the time you can get the ultra rare card combo's you will be done with that stage already. I guess the legendary will be sweet regardless since their's no tier above that.
Ok I finally have enough to just hit Epic Tier in KoTR. Question is, do I have enough to make it past the Semi Finals?
