THQ is recalling all copies of WWE WrestleMania 21. If you want a replacement copy you need to contact THQ. All stores should start seeing replacement copies next week. The new copies have a sticker with a lame quote from IGN.

I may have this wrong, but the Xbox Live patch fixed some other issues with the game - unfortunately not everybody has Xbox Live and can get this fix.

And a quote from IGN? The same IGN that gave it a 6.0?

Seems like a bad game either way. I picked up WWE RAW 2, and it's the only game that I found to be absolutely unplayable. From what I read, this game has a few of its problems despite having different developers.

I've heard from many people the game is pretty decent with the patch. But since it has a horrible CAW system the chances of getting a decent roster of ROH wrestlers is slim. So I'll be passing.

Actually, it's just okay. Personally, I think it's better than any of the Smackdown games but I absolutely despise the Smackdown gameplay system so I may not be the most unbiased source. Regardless, the WM21 probably isn't worth buying unless you can find it for $10 or so. I'm just glad I was able to convince Gamestop.com to let me return it before this whole recall thing happened. My convincing them required lying and saying I didn't have XBox Live but whatever works I guess.

Thing is, even with the patch, it doesn't fix the other glaring errors.

One being that some of the characters no longer have their entrance attire that they had in the review builds.

Bret Hart no longer has his coat and glasses, HBK lacks his chaps... basically all the stuff that was added on ater the BETA.

The Beta was the one that was burned... not the review copy.

I may try a replacement copy from THQ and see what the difference is.. then trade it at Gamerush for Forza.
