Aww, too bad. Dude was legit funny in ring, something I can't say about anyone else in WWE. It's not easy.

Hopefully he can still do stuff outside of the ring.

Suprised to see people enjoyed the gimmick. I couldn't stand it and would instantly fast forward anytime he was on screen. I thought the character was one if the worst I've seen in the last twenty years. Not tl hopper or the goon bad, but still complete garbage.

Best of luck to him with whatever he does next.

Santino was all potential. They never went anywhere notable with this ridiculous comedy guy they had.

He was still in the WWE, I remember him as the new guy back when I used to watch WWE in 2007. Then I stopped watching a year later.

I liked watching Umaga kill him.

Sorry, but Santino was an instant channel changer. He had no potential. It was amazing he got employed for as long as he could. And I find it funny that he claims to be this great wrestler who never gets to show it when he's never had a great match in his life.

It's like asking me to be sad about Brutus Beefcake leaving.

It just really bothered me when you would have cm punk and danielson going nuts in the main event, then you'd have this guy get a pin using a sock(not the mick foley way)

Sucks that he got hurt but I will not miss his stupid gimmick.

Holy shit I didn't know he had so many neck injuries. I can't blame him though. It's too bad though... He was one of the best entertainers in the WWE.

Good riddance. 2014 doesn't have room for such a racist portrayal of Italians.

"Italian" is not a race.

You mean stereotypical portrayal, and even then, that's just the accent. Unless it's a common stereotype that Italians love to attack people with socks.

you are officially taking wrestling too seriously

I really liked a lot of the ideas of this guy and I love him in the interviews on Countdown, but I have never enjoyed watching him do his thing. Still, I grew to appreciate him and I'll miss his shenanigans.

Come on, the guy was big vido/nunzio level of LOOK AT ME IM ITALIAN *insert stereo typical Italian stuff here*

I mean contrast this with Bruno Sanmartino and you can start to see the issues here.

Aww sad news.

I'm going to admit that I wasn't sure about him at first as that whole 'Milan Miracle' thing was a little sad, but fun at the same time. However, once he was allowed to just go full ham with it, it was pretty enjoyable.

He was entertaining, which is more than you can say for some of other people currently on the shows.

I found out I have the same condition as Santino. I don't think I'm going to do the surgery though. A neck fusion doesn't sound fun.
