X-Men Apocalypse Super Bowl Trailer

This film has been horribly horribly marketed though, barely anyone I know actually acknowledges that its coming out, whereas everyone is talking about BvS and Civil War. Hell, even the Daredevil trailers got more buzz than XM:Apocalypse.

This can't be the same team that marketed Deadpool.

Dope poster but that blue guy looks hilarious.

Why does Apocalypse need henchmen anyway? His power level is already god (I know in the comics he is not that big of a deal compared to other villains, but just speaking from his perspective)

Apocalypse likes to have minions to do his dirty. Why let God dirty his hands.

The Horseman are heralds for him. Enforcers of his will, and they also represent the pinnacle of his ideal: only the strong survive. Powerful survivors: Storm survived on the streets as a small child. Magneto survived the holocaust. I dunno what they'll have for Psylocke and Archangel's backstories in this, but they'll be akin to that.

I still find it hilarious that Fassbender is supposed to look like this in 1983

There needs to be a class given for make-up artists/hair stylists in how to recreate style of past decades "believably". When you look at actually photographs from the 70s or 80s, people within them look believable because they ARE frozen in that era. A lot of modern movie makers tend to say, "Hmmm, the 1980s... well, modern Hipsters, with their flannels and beards and thick framed glasses look 'sorta' retro... lets just use THAT style!". I don't know, I just don't like the "not even trying" approach. I wonder how much of that is the stylists' fault and how much of that is the actors/actresses fault in not wanting to fully immerse themselves in the role to the point that they don't want these "retro" looks seeping into their everyday life(while they are filming the movie)? "Like, OMG, I am NOT having to wear a frizzy perm all these days of shooting! What would people think when I go out to Jamba Juice or something?!" They ARE getting paid for a role, might as well just suck it up and go head first into the time machine, even if you look out of place walking into Starbucks with hair built on volume and curls, and fuller eyebrows(remember thicker eyebrows were a thing... and I LOVED it!).

that poster is actually semi-cool, but still can't get over they chose such a small guy to play Apocalypse

Sad that the original 5 have never really been see as a group on film. Cyclops, Jean, Angel, Beast and Iceman not strong enough to carry a movie.

They weren't strong enough to carry a comic book either, as original run X-Men was very unpopular and faced cancellation multiple times. It wasn't until Claremont got the book and brought in characters like Wolverine, Storm, and Nightcrawler that the books got popular.

Chris Claremont doesn't get as much royalties as he's probably deserved. Whilst Lee and Kirby created the X-men, Claremont is their true daddy.

I actually like the poster even though Apocalypse continues to look horrible, but given that his name is actually the subtitle of the fucking film it's not as if Fox can just hide him away.

I heard recently that this film is doing some (apparently) extensive reshooting so it'll be interesting to see what kind of film this ends up being.

Personally I think Apocalypse is going to be an after note when it comes to this year's superhero films coming dead last critically if not financially.

Why is that nightcrawler design even allowed to exist?

I just have this feeling, deep in my brain's heart, that this Nightcrawler will be significantly lamer than X2's.

X2's Nightcrawler is like Future Trunks. Apocalypse's Nightcrawler looking like Present Trunks so far. I hope I'm wrong.

Defend poster is more like it. If the poster is shit, movie gonna be a hit. First time where Cyclops looks like the coolest member of the time.

Baldy McAvoy, still not used to it.

People are still doubting sniger after dofp . It was one the best superheroes movies.

and seriously fox needs some one good to make their posters. these looks like done by some high school student for his project.

I still can't believe how terrible the X-Men costumes are in this. Like they are some next level tier of shit.

"Just like, have some black armour and shit."
