You have to have absolute killer hardware, and you heard in the keynote about the teraflop processor, so we've got the hardware.

Xenon CPU is a teraflop but PS3 CPU is only 200 to 300 gflops ? :lol ok maybe not, but this is sure fun.

He was basically discussing the entire system. it's operations that can be performed with fixed function calls.

Xbox 2 will not be 1 tflop in processing power. (unless someone somehow is able to make a game that uses all the fixed function calls at once... which would be laughably interesting... and impossible )
