Nice. Been looking to get into the series.
Monster Hunter will be on a platform that's popular in Japan and the Xbox One isn't. If it's an important Monster Hunter game then it will be on 3DS, Switch or PS4. The franchise is a multi-million seller in Japan and they're not going to throw that away to an install base of sub-100k in Japan. Multiplat could happen but it will not be Xbox One exclusive.
Yes. Scorpio is more powerful than your build (except the cpu, likely)
All games built for scorpio will downscale and/or have framerate improvements
Games already released for XB1 get 16xAF for free, but require patches to take advantage of extra power. I assume a good chunk of games will see basic support patched in... especially the big name titles and MS published games.

I absolutely want to see Perfect Dark as a spy action/stealth game.
Hmm, I might get one, but I don't know if the purchase will be justified to me if I buy all of my third party games on PC. There's Red Dead Redemption 2 which will be console exclusive and look better on the Scorpio compared to PS4, but I might want to play something like Assassin's Creed: Origins on a Scorpio, since I've found it to be a bit cumbersome moving my fullscreen game from the PC monitor to the tv.

I desperately want to see this game in action and tomorrow would be the perfect time for that.
Also excited to see Anthem's gameplay, Forza 7, and whatever other surprises MS has in store outside of obviously being excited and looking forward to seeing and hearing about the Scorpio.

Haha, that is an interesting point. I see what you mean. I think the game will demo well, and look fantastic. If not... well, I guess we'll see what happens.
Pretty sure they said they're not gonna be at E3? I could be wrong though.

I think that's a good price. I paid $500 for the launch XBO so this wouldn't be bad at all.
It really needs a 399 base price MS must know this.
He's been spot on with his leaks so far...but then again, he seems less confident with this statement.

$500 for XB1 was a bad enough price that they killed off Kinect to get below it.
They seriously need to be at $399. If that means losing money on every sold box then that's still what they have to do. Sony will drop the price on Pro and with checker boarding the difference will barely be noticeable except on the price.

Timed exclusives are fucking dumb. They're bad for the consumer AND the game.
Make it full exclusive or don't bother.
That seems like the sweet spot. I'd be very happy with that.

Yeah, I find it really strange how so many people want it to be revived as a TPS or a stealth game.
The bar they've set isn't exactly that high.
The big leak was an hour before the conference last year. Right?

Did not see it mentioned, but I think there will be a 2-3 minute segment on Madden. At the EA presser, the only part they showed of Madden was what they are doing with Scorpio, no gameplay or anything close to it. Fifa got time and gameplay, NBA got time and gameplay, Madden which is very popular was not really shown at the EA presser. I would have to believe with them showing screenshots and the little they showed that it is being saved for the MS presser and Scorpio.

Not sure but I was so annoyed... At the time my twins were 6 weeks old, I had been sleeping about 4 hours a night for that time, I had agreed with my wife that I would get 90 minutes to myself to enjoy the conference (literally the first time to myself in that 6 weeks) and some *@%&s kept spamming the spoilers all through the conference thread. Ruined it for me ☹
