If I remember right, this was taken from a video he made during the MS is going 3rd party rumors back in February before they actually made the announcement of the initial 4 games. So Microsoft ...when are you bringing back the BC program? You know, the best initiative and program you ever did. The one that actually had major impact on the Xbox ecosystem. The program that made gamers happy to own an Xbox, by expanding its library of games while bringing improvements to resolution and framerate? So that the transition gamers made towards owning 4k tvs wasn't in vain, as good image quality can only be maintained at higher resolutions. When will you bring back this program that bolstered the value proposition of your primary focus which is GamePass, immeasurably?

As a console gamer this entire generation we have been treated like absolute shit by the platform holders that it's almost unbelieveable whats been happening.

I'm glad to see someone point out the bullshit that is forced CrossPlay that was primarily something pushed by Microsoft. The gaming media should've been all over that but being such shills they let that slide too. If you go and read reviews on the Xbox store you'll see just what gamers really think about it. Hundreds of people furious in games like Halo Infinite, Gears, Cod, and Battlefield. Does MS do anything to put a stop to it? Of course not....when these company's think it's acceptable for online multiplayer to not have a fair and even playing field then you know how fucked console gaming has become ..oh yeah and they still force people to pay for online just for the chance to play multiplayer ..

I was all excited and hopeful that the PS5 Pro would save me from having to switch to PC and render my library if ps5 and series x games obsolete but Sony is of course half assing their support of that too..

We really should be switching to PC at all costs because i don't see things getting better on console.

I just booted warzone and a regular cod lobby with all my cross-play settings off.
Didnt have any issues. What region are you playing in? My warzone lobby took like 30s more in matchmaking but i loaded into a game just fine. Same with MW3 Mp?

i get your complaints about pc cheaters and what not, but the option menu's are identical for COD are they not?-

I dont get the your praise for playstation here? you have to turn of cross-play on a game by game basis vs just turning off crossplay for all titles on your xbox in general? how is the xbox one not exactly what you are looking for?

MS forces CrossPlay in most of their games. Sony has been a little better on front but not by much.

Halo Infinite only allows you to turn it off in the Ranked playlist which is consequently the mode the least amount of players use. People want the option in Casual playlists...

Sea of Thieves is forced crossplay no matter what.

Here's the real sneaky thing though ...even when CrossPlay is optional, these companies know that by having CrossPlay turned ON by DEFAULT, is effectively the same as if they had not given us the option at all! Why? Because now the numbers are skewed towards CrossPlay anyway, that turning it off results in a situation where it's harder to find quick matches ..especially in games that are not as popular or have been on the market for a while where populations are low to begin with...this happened to me in Battlefield 2042

If MS really wanted to be fair about this they'd have people have to OPT IN to CrossPlay, not the other way around!
