Okay. I am not going to shit on MS for this one. Most likely, those gifts were probably labeled and shipped by a department that had no idea these people were about to be laid off. I mean, is it a kick to the nuts? Yes. Was it an accidental kick? I believe so.

It's possible. Sometimes they might not even know it's sent to them. Other areas of the company I'm sure deals with things that the people at the top are too busy to even know about. Especially when it's a big company.
